Ian: “I’m 35, I should really stretch and limber up first before convulsing”
Also Ian, literally 15 seconds later: *violently convulses*
let's say he did it off screen lol
Yeah but he has the neck brace so he's fine
He's 36, that silly little goose
@@YTFlove4ever he's such a silly guy.
Not until the 30th
Anthony accidentally breaking Ian's nose is definitely the most famous Smosh injury. That looked so painful, so does the look on Anthony's face while rewatching it. And it's crazy that the blow was deemed not realistic enough to be used in the final cut of the episode.
That's a common theme in any form of entertainment production, something being real and yet deemed "too unrealistic"
Yeah because it's accidental and the scene is suppose to look purposeful.
maybe you shouldnt have filmed the "smoking Ian with different baseball bats for 15 minutes" video right before this
The Behind The Scenes video for it is nuts. :D
I’m pretty sure it was used in the Final Cut
Anthony almost blinding and broking Ians nose while Ian almost cut off Anthony thumb and almost gave him permanent brain damage. Sounds like a good friendship
Sorry if this was in the video, i have bad memory, but permenant brain damage? What happened there?
@@wildtamer4461when Ian tackled him into the ground and Anthony's head bounced after hitting the ground, he said he saw stars after and lots other stuff
FR
I can relate a lot to Anthony and Ian‘s friendship with my best friend since first grade, we will almost kill each other and call each other terrible things, but we will still be best friends after it
Funny how Ian can’t handle talking about a hernia, but can talk about passing a kidney stone with no issue 😂
as a person who had a kidney stone just a year ago, the hernia sounded so much grosser and was way harder to listen to
Its about what grosses you out or embarrass you more
I cant handle it about talking about hernias ITS BECAUSE OF TIKTOK I don’t wanna say what the video was about it’s just too scary I hate stuff about intestines
@@RavenLovesArtikr I couldn’t
I can barely breathe from hearing about the hernia
If anyone is curious, the footage of Ryan/Stevie getting injured by Anthony’s driving was included in the Worst of 2013 video. It’s about four minutes in.
I knew I didn't imagine it!
Omg thank you! I thought I was crazy when they said they should have included it somewhere, I was like “You did though?!? I think??”
I was sure I saw it in a video. I thought it was just the BTS of the video they did for the sketch.
I vaguely remember remember him limping
Ian’s “I took an edible and went for a walk” medical advice is really giving american
It's also giving me a lot of Dutch... Very regocnizable 👌
The irony of them not using the footage of Anthony actually punching Ian because it didn’t look real enough and ended up using fake punch footage is crazy 😂
This pisses me off about film making lol. The amount of times I do violence for real and it looks fake…….but fake violence looks real……..
@@BEETVproductions all about the angles I guess
A flashblack episode where you go through each of the original cast members first video with them would be cool
Yes!! Love this idea
Cool idea
YES!
Seconded. I've seen a compilation somewhere of everyone's first appearances but I'd love to see the cast's reactions to & discussions of them! 🖤
As a frequent sufferer of kidney stones, I can totally sympathise with Ian on this one. The pain isn't from the stone moving, it's from the stone stopping. It acts like a cork and the pressure builds up behind it. Muscle relaxers ease the pain because it opens the tubes and allows the stone to move again. The final passing of the stone is far less painful. Stay hydrated!!
i had kidney stones but i was very lucky that they were small enough to pass with no issues. i'm terrified of getting a painful one
Same here
Thank you for your knowledge!!
Same here. they suck so much.
Yep!! I’ve had them before and I can 100% tell you, once you’ve had them before you’ll 100% know if you’re getting them again. They are 10 times more worse on males. That’s the closest they’ll ever get to childbirth pain. I puked when I had them to.
#1 injury for Ian is when Anthony left, his whole heart broke!
That's so savage... but true 😭
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
The only comfort is Anthony asked Ian to leave with him. At least he wanted Ian to go with him. 😭 mutual heartbreak 😭
bruh
noo 😭
i love that even if with the rest of the cast ian makes jokes and they get along amazingly, most of the time when ian does then weird ass jokes they just get quiet like actually speechless (not in a bad way) but whenever ian does them with anthony, he keeps the joke going for longer, like adding to it or just making it weirder. they truly complement each other
This what I've noticed. Like Ian is known for making "bummer" jokes, but when he makes them with Anthony, Anthony keeps it going and they keep building up on it and it doesn't feel bummer, it gets funnier and funnier lol
Yeah, I've noticed that too and this is probably one of the reasons he lost confidence in his comedy skills in those 6 years apart, he didn't have the other half to his comedic tone😢
@@mavvi3303 he's only been "known" for this for the past 6 years. That wasn't really the Ian I watched for so many years prior to that time and it was more a bit than anything, but I understand people that started watching after Anthony left don't know this and identify Ian as such. I'm so glad to see him go back to his former, silly self. I missed him❤
That's actually really cool when you look at it closely. Like, Ian makes a bummer or exaggerated joke, then Anthony so nonchalantly adds to the bit. It also helps that Anthony's just easy to crack.
@@Danny-xl7qc Yeah after Anthony left Ian noticebly changed, the cast leaned into it for the jokes, but he was definitely grumpier, so I get why some of the new fans thought he was a bit of a bummer and a bit cold. But I think you can see him slowly reverting into past Ian as the months go by.
Now the jokes are less dark and disillusioned and more snarky and cynical, it's a different vibe. It also helps that Anthony can immediately tell what's a joke or a bit and what isn't which avoids the '....' moments where people like Angela are trying to figure out if Ian is serious or not before they laugh or respond (😂), Anthony knows right away. Anyway it's kinda obvious that both Anthony and Ian are better off next to each other, neither of them has this much chemistry with anyone else. It just works. Good for them... and us watching I guess lol.
Ian stopping his own kidney stone with an edible and a walk is homeopathy divined from source
I love this sentence.
I want to see not necessarily injuries, but like mess-ups/mistakes on set. Like props breaking or things that could have been injuries, but somehow were not. Like a “Smosh miracles” episode or something
Props breaking and overall fucking up the set would make hilarious content
Yes please! Good idea!
as someone for whom smosh is definitely my roman empire - particularly old school smosh - these smosh history lessons from the mouths of ian and anthony themselves are HIGHLY appreciated i love this
Broh I was watching Smosh at 6, this is healing my childhood.
My Roman Empire? Nah, this is my Greek Mythology
@@ksad96 is that a Smoshmouth reference
The “sorry” from Anthony after poking Ian’s eye is so funny 😭
The scariest moment I remember is when Courtney nearly split her skull open doing a cartwheel during the belly flop competition. I'm pretty sure the reason Summer Games hasn't come back is that HR is telling them that the insurance won't cover it.
lol you think that’s why?
Didn't Mari got concussion then
What a dangerous game
"Zoe would not allow it"
I love how they're the owners, meaning they have veto on every decision in the brand, but they are decent people, and they listen now to common sense.
Zoe is so important ❤
15:05 this is such an organic reaction from ian and its so funny, thank you anthony lmao
I've never seen him break like that
@@lolbutt124same, you can feel the embrarrasment HAHAHA
23:00 - I think we're so used to Ian being the "bummer" of the channel that we're just wholly blindsided by the fact Anthony's just completely feral lol I love everything about this show💛
As someone that has waterboarded themselves using a rag in the shower to see what it's like I can relate to Ian when he says "It's scary"
It's scarier than people realise because somehow even holding your breath doesn't help.
Does it still have the same effect if you do it by yourself? Asking for a friend
@@cheesecakelasagnayes
I'd never do it alone because if I thought I was drowning I'd want people with me

Awwie good
Man, so much effort in making this timestamp. I appreciate it so much.
Wasn't Anthony the one in the car in number 2?
Bro gotta get hired at this point.
bro just made the whole table of contents
Ian trying to yawn with the neckbrace is really funny
The fact that Anthony actually closed his eyes behind the sunglasses killed me
Daisy’s honestly a real one for the free nose correction
Ian cringing at Anthony's hernia is weirdly wholesome
What we’ve learned today:
Don’t let the boys near elevators, cars, eyes, Olivia’s bully variant, noses, people, or anything.
Especially boats and glass
Oh no it’s so sad to see Chumbawamba’s #1 fan in a neck brace😱. I wish him a quick recovery🙏
Don't worry. Whenever he gets knocked down, he always gets up again. He's then just gonna piss the night away after that.
@@marxvargas7697 piss it away just like the kidney stones
"has seen pictures of ians kinky jellybeans but not a kidney stone" kortney when i tell you i cried
What?
i'm noticing a pattern of not going to the emergency when they get badly hurt lol
That's North American healthcare for you! 😂
I love how the chills “number 10” meme is still scattered throughout the internet so many years later 😂
if you refering to bk foot lettuce (which ian even said with number 9) that was "number 15"
it’s the way i heard it 🤣😭
Chills' voice and presentation is iconic
I mean, Chills is still doing great in his channel and his music. He actually has some banger songs like Sidelined, Swap Meet, and Sunny Dee, and this is the guy that says "Number fifteeeeeeennnnnnnnn".
12:21 “Oh 😕”
I love the way Anthony reacts and continues Ian’s jokes
They didn't talk about Ian's chronic injury: his debilitating devotion to chumbawamba
The way Ian immediately perked up when Anthony said he'd be down to get slapped🤣 "Really?!"
God, he's so cute.
I feel that Neck thing so much, every time in dance class when theres a choreo where you throw or roll your head I regret it the next day
i just genuinely enjoy seeing these guys reconnect. it's soul warming watching them interact & talking about all of these memories. the comfort they're finding in being friends again is better than any hallmark movie ever made. all hail smosh daddies.
Lol the editing is too good. Love when it zooms in on Anthony’s blink when Ian says he’s down to slap someone
Ian freaking out while Anthony talks about his hernia is me anytime someone talks about medical things
Thanks for talking about your hernia Anthony. I have the exact same hernia, even down to the frequency of recurrence, and it was cool to have someone else describe the exact same symptoms.
the fact that you can actually just make a list like that is as concerning as it is funny😂❤
Anthony explaining his hernia by saying “just the tip” is the funniest thing ever 💀
Shout out to the editor for all the commentary, its so funny
I don't know how it would happen but seeing these two and trixie and katya in a room would make me go insane
Broh, imagine how dark and twisted the humor would be. If Shaggy can guest star on Dragula anything could happen❤
That would be an absurd crossover of fanbases and yet I'm in that Venn diagram
This killin' my high 😔😔
By far my fav episode so far :) It’s like they finally feel like their chemistry is getting back to 100%
I actually remember the Stevie Car scene. You did include it in BTS, because I remember getting worried if Ryan was okay.
It’s a bit foggy, but I remember him jumping back a bit after getting hit, then he was moving into the garage with one foot. Someone asked if he was okay and he replied “No” while making “argh” sounds. Then the clip ended and all I thought was: “What happened? Did the dude end up alright?”
"It's called method acting Ian"
"NO."
lmao
The costumes for each flashback video get better and better
I absolutely died laughing at the Better Help ad and then immediately after Anthony just yells "Ian getting waterboarded!"
"because sometimes existing is exhausting" lmao
Gosh I love these stories. Btw I hope you will re-introduce "Meal time with Smosh" at some point. Will bring back nostalgia ^^.
They have meal time for members
@@whatspoppingproductionsthey do? For the lowest tier?
They have it for membership havers
They have it for members!
@@liriodendronlasianthus do they have it for the lowest tier?
I’d love a flashback episode talking about like the different eras of RUclips and how that affected Smosh content. Idk if anyone else would, but I would 🤣
Camp in a van is one of my all time favorite videos! Would love if you guys covered it!
5:46 if you wanna see that scene, it’s in “Smosh: Worst of 2013”, four minutes in. Glad the actor made it out okay in the end.
I love Ian's response to the hernia being what everyone else's response is to the papercut thing which he so gleefully outlined
I’m surprised we didn’t see Anthony breaking his tooth on lunchtime with Smosh
Ian's really aged well, honestly. He looks good!
THIS SHIT KILLS MY HIGH
"Ians least painful break up" is brutal😂😂😂
Whoever edited this episode is my hero
Kortney L ❤
i think my favorite part of the video is when they confirm they have someone working there that wouldn't let them do some of these things now (shout out zoe)
Not only did Ian fall backwards with a microwave in his hands for a new sketch, he also accidentally threw up a real hammer he was holding then had to dodge it falling back down at last second lmao
I love how most of these are ian's injuries 😂
Anthony dipped for several years, he clearly knew how to avoid the worst damage in all respects /j
Thank you for your service and sacrifices for the betterment of this country, Ian and Anthony.
Who do you guys think you are taking down Perc 30 disaster and Legend of the Plug
Yes please!! An episode each for Ian’s mum and for Stevie!!
“Number six: Ian gets waterboarded!” CRACKED ME UP
Literally pumped for EVERY Smosh video
just like the old days!
same!
The saddest injury is when Anthony left and didn't return til years later. Leaving us with emotional scars that are still kinda healing.
Ian predicting Arasha's incredible slap at 31:50
Was looking for this comment. I genuinely want to know why she slapped him so hard lmao
ian's laugh is kinda cute HAHA
The fact that it's "Zoe would not allow it" and not "we know better now" says something, not sure what
15:05 Ian's immediate reaction to this is my favorite moment
i love flashback w smosh a lot and i wasnt even a smosh fan back then
Omg same
Same
I would watch a 3 hour video of them watching Smosh the movie
Flashback with Smosh has become a guilty pleasure of mine.
Hey, it would be cool if yall did a Flashback of Smosh Games with the OG Smosh Games crew. Would love to see Lasercorn, Joven, Sohinki, and Mari back if they are willing.
Omfg agree w this
Ian might get knocked down and get up again but Anthony's hernia keeps him down 😂
let's not forget when spencer blew a party blower into Ian's mouth in eat it or yeet it
You know you're accident prone when you have a "top 10 injuries" list
They've been doing this since 2005. Frankly, it's a miracle their injury list is this short.
@@MonkeBrain07 True, but I meant that if you have to pick a top 10 that implies you must've had a lot to choose from
@@indievariety True, but Shayne's ankle aside, their record is relatively clean.
As a screenwriter breaking into comedy, I would love to hear more about your writing process!
I really wanna see them break down summer/winter games. Their favorite moments or interesting behind the scenes stuff
ok why is it that Anthony's ad reads are so relaxing ive heard them since early 2021 when i was religiously watching I Spent A Day With and they soothe me in ways an ad read should not
YOURE KILLING MY HIGH
Stevie is an absolute legend
just these two being candid feels like a mature and genuine evolution of the channel.
this show getting more and more MORE with props and the editing
My friends and I wanted to test how bad waterboarding is one summer. I got waterboarded and can confirm, it does feel like you can't breathe. At first I was like "oh this ain't so bad" and then the shirt (we used a shirt instead of a towel) got incredibly wet. Water started pouring through the shirt onto my face and I couldn't breathe.
That is certainly an activity to do with friends
It was like a strangers hand lol. Anthony dying at that killed me.
cant believe anthony resurrected
what a miracle
Anthony in realtime scaring me into never skipping deadlifts and core
Glad Ian's nose is better. At the end of the day, he gets knocked down, but he gets up again.
Would love to see you react with every current cast member to their first video
Just like that time they had Angela and Chase react to some of the classic videos and they didn’t recognize Anthony because of his emo hair
Anthony made me realize that I think I've had a hernia for like a decade and never knew about it. I've had that exact same belly button adjacent things for years but never thought much of it. Thought it was like a muscle or something but I never brought it up or went to look it up
You should go see a doctor. Like, today.
This shit killed my high!
I think im desensitized. I'm just casually eating leftover thanksgiving dinner listening and watch Anthony explain his hernia.
I love that Anthony brought BetterHelp with him
10:42 I really love how much their friendship and dynamic healed from getting back together. While they had obviously mended their relationship when their first video came out. It was still a tiny bit awkward and a work in progress.
But now they are fully comfortable with eachother again.
Would love to see one with your friend who plays the announcer for FB/the neighbor, I think he'd be a great podcast third person to have for an episode
Ian is actually right about the pierced nose thing, but everyone's body is different so some people can switch out and take out their piercing at least for a day or two and it would be fine.
Some people will have their whole completely close up within a couple hours... just depends
Side of your nose skin. The middle of it is cartilage Not sure which one is more likely to close quicker
I can only imagine the doctor when asking how they got those injuries 😂🤣
I half expected Anthony's cracking his tooth on the plastic Jesus toy to be in here! But I guess the ones that made the top 10 were a little more pressing/damaging. 🤣
