I said this on the actual scam video, but I'll say it here too. Arasha's scam becomes more impressive the more you think about it. Because she didn't run one scam. She ran two. She conned her coworkers into thinking that she had booked a role, and she convinced her employers that free donuts were necessary to sell the first deception. It didn't actually matter if her coworkers believed her or not, as long as the donuts came through. But then she committed to the lie anyway out of love for the game. All while working with a team, who ran surveillance for her without getting caught or tipping off any of their marks. And to top things off, all the people that she lied to got to share in the donuts> It's like she went to a financial backer to fund a con, ran off with the backer's money and shared it with her marks, and then went through with the first con anyway just for fun. If we weren't talking about donuts, that would be the plot of a badass heist movie.

@@michaeldeboer Correct. Amanda and Angela aren't the scam victims in this. Arasha convinced the company that donuts were necessary for the ploy to work. Where as it's kind of reversed. It was actually the entire scam that was created to get the donuts instead. They did 'knowingly' purchase the donuts but it was under the pre-text of that it was to assist with the scam - but the donuts really weren't necessary for everything to have worked out and Arasha could have just bought them herself and had someone else place them there before she came in but she didn't.. So she got the donuts for free. It's still a scam, it's just that Amanda and Angela got tricked, not scammed. And the company who was in on it, were the ones to actually get scammed. I really love the irony of it and how elaborate it all is just for donuts. 😂😂
This whole character arc for Arasha has been extremely entertaining to follow. Love the throughline of her lying or having a dishonest reputation during most of the recent episodes. She really is an incredible actress! Excellent compilation!
