    Looks like a great hospital. The people who are patients there are fortunate to have this high quality medical care available to them. The religiousity connected with this medical care makes it even more unique.

    With my cataract surgeries, my surgeon offered up a prayer before he started the procedures. I really loved that

    I love the idea of prayer involved and the way they’re going about it. For those patients or medical staff who don’t want it, they can go elsewhere so nobody is forced to do what they don’t want to do.

      Monica Eastman : not sure what you mean by that but I never said they should be banished - just that they have the option to go elsewhere. There are many opportunities in the medical field.

      @@anne9071 maybe it's the religious elements that needs to go elsewhere.. you should be working after proven science in a hospital and in medical work.. I can accept if you do it for the patients, on their wishes etc, but why a group of doctors has to mess in religion is not ok.. for soo many reasons.. but this is the thing with ppl like you, what YOU want is always the right thing & not able to understand anything outside "I like" &"I want".. YOUR religion & oppinion is always the only right one & should never be questioned..

      Ingrid Åkerblom It’s a religious hospital! Of course many of the doctors are going to be religious. Unless they’re doing weird questionable stuff, why should anyone have a problem with it?

    Excellent. Excellent bedside manner. How reassuring and uplifting. Its appreciated to see the medical staff giving glory to God and honor him with prayer. Nothing happens without his ok. I recently saw a Russian program that depicted gastly er conditions and manner. I am proud to know my grandmother was an American nurse and Christian.

    That doctor needs to contain all that long, stringy hair! How unsanitary and unattractive! She should be old enough and smart enough to know better than to be flinging it around what should be a clean environment!

    Combining religion and medicine is just weird to see. I understand the family praying before a surgery or something but when doctors do it it makes me question some things.

      My GP practice was a Medical Mission. I often joined in the morning prayers lead by one of the doctors. Did'nt find anything strange about them. They were a wonderful group of doctors and some did perform missionary work abroad as well as serving the local community with differing faiths. Sorry I had to leave their care when I moved.

      Medicine and the belief in GOD is not weird. That just comes from your small minded biases. GOD, is after all, the ultimate Scientist. No one can replicate life like He has made.

    • @DustinPlatt
      @DustinPlatt 3 года назад

      @@Ahn-mu3db Not biased. The point is you can't or anyone in your religion can't give any hard proof that God exists. You rely on faith. Whereas we can scientifically prove that medicine and science exists and works.

      @@DustinPlatt You think they force prayer on people who don’t want it? It’s an Christian based hospitals are an ACTUAL thing. Especially Donors and medical health professionals who choose to work and donate to them for them. A lot of them are also for non profit work and more focus on helping people even from the inside. This is one of them. There is nothing wrong if a Doctor prayers with their patient and family. You’re weird for feeling some type of way. I promise you they won’t do malpractice because you said “No thank you”🙄
