Dolly has a very distinct makeup look and LOVES a full glam. Makeup seems like a natural product for her to release.

I have the inside scoop! No brands are currently leaving Ulta BUT, in my store specifically Kylie and R.E.M moved to the back of the store losing their prime spots. So we are speculating that they may be leaving soon.

Just popping in with a weekly reminder that inclusive doesn’t apply ONLY to depth. UNDERTONE is important too. If you are a fellow neutral/cool leaning olive person you understand. That cool toned purple blush is chefs kiss on us. I feel so beautiful in that color blush but it’s sooooooo hard to find. Or any complexion products really made for me that match or flatter me. I would never take away from the deep skinned person just please don’t forget about meeeeeer. I want to have fun makeup too
Cool toned purple blushes work well on my fair, very cool toned skin BUT only because they usually turn pink on me. Purple or lavender blushes are one of the few ways I can get a true pink on my very cool skin. Usually even pinks that look cool have a little warmth and turn peach on me (or orange depending how much warmth they have). But, it definitely isn’t for everyone!
I ADORE Dolly Parton!! And she does seem sweet. She is such an icon!

As an Angelino their nods to the city are super tempting. I bought the Off-Melrose eye palette and it’s the only thing I’ve ever bought to solely collect. Seeing shades named after my streets and neighborhood was just too cool to pass up

I have gotten so much better about my make-up shopping. When i first started watching RUclips the world broke and i tried to buy everything and keep up with influencers. It got so bad that i was in debt and resorted to theft. Don't worry i got help and realized it had way more to do with the covid situation than me being a terrible human. (Everything was repaid to society). Now i don't even purchase make-up every month let alone weekly multiple times a week like i had been. My struggle now though is learning to still enjoy the make-up i have instead of avoiding it altogether if that makes sense.
Purple blush is not for only "a few people". On cool toned people, purple blushes look pink while pink blushes look coral. And there are a lot of cool toned people.
I tried a lavender Game Beauty blush for the first time this morning, and it looked kind of gray. How?! 😥
Truth! Persona Bubble looks downright neutral on me. I picked up the new Fenty in the purple, and it’s gorgeous.
@@christyhudson4422Do you have any yellow or golden-orange tones in your complexion? That would be complementary to the blue-purple tones in the blush and could go gray.
On me pink and purples look ashy because of my warm undertone! True, are more cool toned people out there❤
You've just said exactly what she means 🤣 obviously she doesn't mean LITERALLY a few people but they only suit cool skin tones. Neutral and warm tones are always going to look iffy with a purple blush. Not to mention not all cool toned people like purple blush either

I was just saying this morning while getting ready for work that NYX needed to add more colors on their epic ink liner. I already have their original black one. It’s like you and them read my mind or something. 😂 I’m glad they’re expanding that.

I have the same issue that you do with eczema and I also have combination/oily skin. My dermatologist prescribed a Tretinoin compound - so it's a low percentage of Tretinoin combined with Niacinamide and moisturizing ingredients. I use it quite sparingly and haven't experienced any problems with it thankfully. You can either order it online with your prescription or you have to find a pharmacy that can do compound prescriptions. You might want to ask your doctor if it's an option for you. Good luck! 🥰
Your perfume preferences are mine, as well. One the one hand it’s nice that they’re not super popular because it means I don’t smell like everyone else, but on the other hand it makes it so much more likely for those things to be discontinued.

The epic ink liner is such a good launch! I love brown liner but I find their brown quite dark and it’s the same with most other brands. I hope they have a medium warm brown, that would be perfect.

Those nude NYX liners are great if you get one close to your skin tone and use it for creative liner looks in replace of concealer. Like when I cut a shadow look into a shape I used to use concealer and now I use that lighter one and it works perfectly to give the illusion of skin in a look. Hope this makes sense lol

These Rabanne cream cheek duo reminds me a lot of a Chinese brand, who is focused on multi use balm products. The brand is called Red Chamber and is really popular in China.
If I remember correctly Tretinoin is a type of Vitamin A. Rose hip seed oil (The Ordinary and others) is a natural weaker well tolerated form of Vitamin A just takes longer than Tret might help. Yes I bought UD Naked so happy to have a new one! Old one pretty busted lol. Want that new Star palette but hate the packaging will try to depot

I just received the lady bug glow (both!) In my Eyescream subscription box for indie MU! I had no idea it was a collab! How cool! They are pretty good quality pretty color stories! Love them! I paid $35 I got both pals (I had to kick in +$10 for 2nd pal normally it’s $25), lipstick, blush, contour palette & a single!

My gosh if you are surprised by pratzel parfume wait and let me tell you about an abomination that poped up in news on me this morning. For only 8$ you can get Hellmann’s scent which they describe as: “Tailgaters, football fans and mayo lovers alike can expect bold, savory notes of tart, mayonnaise accord, musk and vanilla with coffee undertones.” I still have no words for this.

I saw that KVD was 50 percent off at my local store about a week ago, so I’m assuming they’re leaving to make room for Ilia. Don’t know for sure though, I didn’t think to ask someone who works there.
I think it could be a good layering scent for gourmand lovers, with ... a salted caramel scent, with pralines and things like that.

If you like cardamom in perfume, I can highly suggest the Armani Prive Santal Dan Sha one 🥰 I am for sure trying out the new retinol serum from Glow Recipe. Also, I hated the NYX epic inc liner. It was so patchy and impossible to do a wing with. Also, congrats on the new Singe Beauty release 😍
Glad you've got some answers about your tretinoin journey! But I would caution you to try a few different over-the-counter retinals in addition to the glow recipe. Glow Recipe puts so so so so so little actives in their formulae that they basically do nothing. I have dry skin and am supposed to be cautious about BHA/PHAs but glow recipe's was SO gentle it did literally nothing for me. Nice feeling products, nice smells, but if you want active ingredient benefits, I'd look elsewhere.

I get eczema on my arms pretty bad. I use the nivea in shower body lotion, the aveno body oil on wet skin, then the bum bum cream on top. It's the only combo that has kept my eczema away in winter here in Wisconsin

The naked palette coming back is hilarious. I bought it when it was going away initially. I own the original, heat and smoked and I love them all. I like the formula being bendable and the color builds gradually
The main complaint that everyone has, about the og naked, is there are not enough matte colors.

So glad you said the notes aren’t coming through for Dear Sky as I would like the watermelon, bergamot and rhubarb and not just a white florals. Those fenty blushes look really cheap in that packaging and they are really expensive.

I would love to see a perfume recommendations video from you in different price categories! We have the same preferences, I love Replica's From the Garden (thank you for talking about it BTW) and Fantasy Cosmetica's Druid for example. I just can't with perfumes that have musky or vanilla base notes and it's hard to find decent perfumes without those.

🤣 I moved into the oil fields a couple years ago. My SO's mom calls that the sulfur smell that explodes through Odessa pretty regularly the smell of money LOL! Texas is wild! But I think I'd pass on a perfume based on the Permian Baasin 😐

That Knead fragrance sounds fun for an atmosphere scent, but not a personal one, and I enjoy gourmands. Strawberry Letter starts with a seriously strawberry burst but it fades down on me to a faint, light amber. It's just innocuous, IMO.
I am looking forward to the Dolly lipsticks, Nomad palette and whatever Singe is releasing!

The Flower Knows Midsummer Fantasy perfume is a lovely yuzu/grapefruit/conifer scent. Maybe it's worth trying? I've really enjoyed it. :)
