They were STARS. Now, they're nothing more than celebrities.

So sad and we all know what happened afterward. We have to try hard to know people before we establish relationships with them and it's almost impossible sometimes. I knew Carrie when we were little girls as we went to summer camp together but our families did not know each-other. She came to me sometimes to talk and she was the nicest person there, EVER! At the time I did not know who she was, not until her mother came one day to watch her when we were having swimming lessons. Debbie was the prettiest woman that I ever met... no makeup at all and that is saying a lot, considering where we all lived, plus when she met a person she looked into your eyes and smiled as if it meant a lot to her that she was meeting you.

I miss how glamorous adults were in the 1970s. I was just a child but I remember Debbie Reynolds and the great hair and makeup of the women. Then, even the average person took pride in their appearance and wanted to look glamorous and a bit dressed up.

Interesting story, but should be titled "Ava Gardner checks on Carrie Fischer who was passed out in London hotel room". Since it was not an OD she probably would have been okay anyway. However in 2016 Carrie Fisher died on a flight from London to LA probably from a lifetime of drug use and ECT, not to mention the recent election of tronald. By the way Ava would be 101 today.

🤔 You certainly have to feel a little sorry 🙏 for poor Debbie Reynolds. She did not have the ability to know how to pick the right men in her life. With each of her useless husbands ,stealing millions of dollars 💵 from her !..some foolish people just never learn...............😮

You've got to remember the context. Women of that time were taught to be submissive.

Ava Gardner’s name dishonestly used to con the world into watching this video !
