Loved it. I think Evil Ian from the multiverse with the powers of the goatee is onto something here! Never mind shot tolerances and differences in tactical executions of a 4.0 vs a 5.0, but the psychological factor itself can have a detrimental effect on the outcome of the game. So fun guys. Cheers! MM
"Multiverse Ian" lol, I love it! The mental game behind the match-up can definitely play a factor in the outcome. Always fun working with Ian and Essential!
I like how joel was saying he was going to make Scott move because he "did not want to move" in warm ups. dude you should have just said my goal is to get as many shots back over the net🤣
That match is a great example to show how big the difference between 4.0 and 5.0 really is. Probably same as having Joel play a 3.0 opponent. Or Scott playing Karue?
It would have been interesting to see the outcome if the 4.0 (Joel) got coaching but the 5.0 didn’t. I would guess not much different, though. The 5.0 should win about 6-1 nine times out of ten
Very true. Afraid I didnt offer much in the coaching department though. The shot tolerance peice was where Scott had his focus anyway. When theres a disparity in levels shot tolerance / weight of shot is almost always the difference. We put stipulations on Scott in a upcoming video. Gets interesting!
The suspense here is whether the 4.5 will get a game off Scott. Not likely. He has no weapons to particularly hurt Scott with. Will only get a game if Scott loses focus and makes unforced errorz.
These comments are hilarious...... Video: Scott is a 5.0 and played college tennis. Comments: These guys 2.5 at best, Scott MAYBE a low 3.0.......... Joel is slow and Scott could use a beard trim! 🤣🤣🤣
I can't even watch this for more than a few minutes, where do they get these ratings from, blue shirt seems like a really good person but he needs some help, he's playing so far behind the baseline, and he was hitting the ball right back to black shirt, waiting for an error, he should have worked on black shirts BH.
The mental game / focus can always make it a bit weird though...especially with cameras rolling. Stay tuned...we add stipulations to the matchplay that keeps it intersting
hmm, pretty low 5.0 for Scott. joel is around 3.75 in my opinion........Don't know why people are saying Scott should play karue, Karue will smoke him it'll be pointless to watch, apart from seeing the different levels...
@@Playyourcourt actually went to Scott's match against Ian after this video and saw that Scott's level was higher back then...probably took it easy on Joel too
There’s a reason you don’t see any 4.0 vs 5.0 matches. It’s not remotely interesting or close because it shouldn’t be. A 4.5 with coaching allowed and not the 5.0 might be interesting. I couldn’t even finish this short video. Props to the 4.0 for trying though!
Lol, Joel is closer to 3.0 than 4.0 no consistency at all and is really slow. Scott is on the low side of 4.5 at the very best. No way is he close to a 5.0

The warm-up was definitely decieving. Joel showed some hustle though, great wheels!
This is so creative. I would love for more match play with coaching thought. This would benefit me as a coach, coaching my high school
Thank ya sir! More to come soon!
Love Scott's angled volleys. Wow.
I love this concept and hearing the coaching. Please do it again with two 4.0 players and with two 3.5 players and two 3.0 players. Thanks!
Will do, thanks for the feedback!
That match is a great example to show how big the difference between 4.0 and 5.0 really is.
Probably same as having Joel play a 3.0 opponent. Or Scott playing Karue?
Karue would absolutely destroy Scott as easy if not easier than Scott doing this to Joel
Joel: “I’m just going to start moon balling”
All other amateur players: 🤦♂️facepalm
This is too much fun. Keep it up.
Thank you! Always fun collaborating w/ Ian and The Essential Tennis team
12:24 - play like MEP : ]
lol...#facts
That's what I was thinking!!! Take all your spin and put it in reverse Terry!!! Haha

Is Scott using RF97?
That he is!
Is this Nielsen tennis stadium??
Afraid not..The court is at The Princess Anne located in Virginia Beach, Va
Great video love it. Scott played well nice aggressive style like the approaches to the net after a deep penetrating FH. Clean and crisp.
Thank ya sir! Glad you enjoyed it
How about Scott play another 5.0 like Mark?
That would be fun..we've discussed matchplay between the channels and hope to set it up soon!
Scotty’s beard is increasing his drag coefficient, yet he’s kicking ass anyway!

Focus is always a factor at every level thats for sure
My favorite advice is to apply scoreboard pressure. I guess, as opposed to not scoring

🤣🤣🤣
Scotts beard id def a 3.0 😉🤣
There's no way Scott's a 5.0.... you should have him play Mark... I think Mark might bagel him.
Good. Grief. SMH
Camera-work - What's with the switching of views? Bad!
Switching views midpoint was pretty disruptive
Thanks for the feedback, we'll keep that in mind moving forward
I’m sorry but how is Joel 4.0?? He has very little depth on his shots and doesn’t have consistent pace
Scott is a 4.5 and Joel is a 3.5
The tennis gods have spoken 🤣
The camera angle switching is distracting.
But the video is well produced and an interesting idea. I should have led with this...
Apprecitte the kind words and feedback. We'll definitely keep it in mind moving forward
No way. It was a masscre on paper already. But joel will learn a lot and losing is how we all learn.

There really is no way this can be competitive. Way to big a difference in technical ability
The mental game / focus can always make it a bit weird though...especially with cameras rolling. Stay tuned...we add stipulations to the matchplay that keeps it intersting
Should be Ian playing.
hmm, pretty low 5.0 for Scott. joel is around 3.75 in my opinion........Don't know why people are saying Scott should play karue, Karue will smoke him it'll be pointless to watch, apart from seeing the different levels...
Hmmm. 5.0 Vs 4.0 (5.0 =5.0 & 3.75 = 4.0 *usta) Yup math checks out...🧐 🤔 🤣
@@Playyourcourt actually went to Scott's match against Ian after this video and saw that Scott's level was higher back then...probably took it easy on Joel too
Joel is in over his head
Big hurdle for sure, admirable to take it on..especially on camera!

Sorry, the sound volume was so bad that I could watch anymore... bummed!
Hi Lynnette, so sorry to hear that. What was wrong with the volume? We definitely want to fix it if we missed something!
Joel is 3.0

hmmm 🤔
Scott is 3.5
No way 4.0
