So glad you did this tour. I too have considered the Hyatt MCO. Very nice and finally a ceiling fan over the bed! Good tour. Think the balcony doors permanent locked due to guy who jumped to his death, or pushed.
You’re prob right about the doors. It was a bummer that would have been a cool experience to be able to open them but it was still nice to have the view. It’s very convenient staying there if the price is right. In sept when I needed a place to stay I ended up at Marriott lakeside it was a lot cheaper and a beautiful hotel with a shuttle that picks you you at the airport. :)
Thanks for sharing your video. I am going to cruise in October from Port Canaveral. I plan to stay one night at La Quinta hotel. My question is, are there any stores that are close to this hotel so i can walk to? Also, are there any beaches that are close near by? Thanks for respond!
Hi! How exciting! Cruises are fun. It’s not close to any beaches at all. You may want to check out port Canaveral hotels or even cocoa beach if you want to experience the coast. All these hotels I featured are close to the airport but don’t offer much entertainment just convenience basically. I don’t remember la Quinta being close to a store but you can always use Instacart. It’s very helpful I use it a lot when in Orlando :)
The nearest beach would be Cocoa beach which is 35 to 45 mins away depending on traffic. The hotels are also 20-25 mins from Universal studios and sea world.
If you had a one night stay without a car just to rest and eat breakfast, would you go for Marriott Lakeside or Renaissance Airport? (Adults only) Did they have any club level offerings at Lakeside when you visited? I think they both have that for titanium elites.
Hi 👋 not sure about club levels. I loved Marriott lakeside if your into the pools. Feels more like a Orlando resort. Did not stay at Renaissance but it was beautiful. Pool wasn’t as grand. Hyatt at the airport is wonderful too :) have fun!
I know the embassy suites there has the happy hour with 2 free drinks (alcoholic) and then free breakfast in the morning. It’s a pretty nice place not too old, with it being updated fairly recently.
Thank you! This is VERY helpful

I do love the Hyatt will stay there.
The Sheraton Suites and Marriott are at least 40+ years old. I prefer newer hotels.
