Will you be comparing this to the new Hisense PX3-Pro at some point, they seem similar, also what is the colour of the metal edging around the projector , is it silver effect or gold effect ? Difficult to tell from the video

I think i am to spoiled with my Oled G3 77 inch. A projector can never top the contrast but sure is more immersive. Nevertheless its a nice piece of work
A million to 1 contrast ratio??? Lol. Come on, it's not an OLED, it's still a projector. Just because the XGIMI marketing speak says it doesn't make it so.
@@laughingoutloud3713 I just call bs on "1,000,000 : 1" contrast ratio when the top projectors that cost 2-5x the price of this top out between 3-5K : 1 contrast ratios.
All the projectors bragging about IMAX are an absolute joke. All projectors capable of 16x9 can project 1.90 and 1.73 (16x9) IMAX and variable aspect ratios without issue.
Some are actually using an iris or closing lens to physically crop down the image to the correct aspect, avoiding spill over, or open up, to allow a taller image with unused pixels on the dmd or imager

@@bikashkhanal-se4qe I agree, spending this much money on a projector you need a separate sound system. I do wish that the manufacturer of these types os UST would allow the speaker to be a central channel in a 5.1 system
@@johnmackie1417 Hi John, yes, I didn't miss this part, and I have known it from XGIMI's social media for the past 2 weeks, too. What I meant is comparing the image brightness to some well-known projectors out there, like the Formovie, which has 2800 lumens, and AWOL, with 3500. The 2300 seems very low, which is the elephant in the room that is not mentioned here. Also, most projectors have a tri-laser projection, unlike the Aura 2 here.
@@saifalquraishi5619 yes the Formovie is an excellent projector though I doubt it has quite as high lumens, eg the independent site the HookUp measures it at 2275. I had a JVC projector and it had a fantastic image but nowhere near these levels of lumens. High brightness of course in itself can be a problem esp for contrast. Lots of great projectors currently coming into the market, this looks like a healthy addition imo.
@@saifalquraishi5619 the number is actually pretty irrelevant as I’ve seen some very high lumens handle dark scenes poorly, for me it’s more about getting the balance between contrast / brightness.
