Just to add. The speaker can play with the same ferocity on battery as if it was plugged in. Just press the bass boost button twice. You’ll hear the difference.

hi..what is the difference between the jbl partybox 300 high power and the original jbl partybox 300
I think they are the same thing, just some website list it as “high power” and others don’t. At least thats what I could find. To my knowledge there aren’t 2 different versions of this speaker

You said you didn’t think it would be enough for a big party. If we had it up on a shelf above everyone in a basement or garage even if there’s 30-40 people do you still think it wouldn’t be enough?
I think if you’re trying to throw a serious ranger then yea I still don’t think it’ll get the job done. I used this at a party in a small apartment with around 20-30 people, and the noise of everyone talking to eachother made the speaker sound very quiet. Many people would come by and try to turn it louder during the party even when it was at max volume.

So I haven't actually tried either of these, but I heard the sony xb90 is much louder than the party box, or the soundboks if you're willing to spend a bit more
Jesse Chen interesting because it looks like by the specs the JBLPB300 has a higher decibel rating. I would have thought if I had the pb300 above the crowd that it would be loud enough. Thanks !

Not sure about anyone else, but when I charge my PB300 from 0% battery, it doesn't take 5 hours to fully charge. Maybe 1hr 30mins? Anyone know why that is?
Hmm that's weird, not sure about that, mine def takes closer to the 5 hrs to charge haha

What’s better party box 100 or 300
yk its 120w on battery and 240w when plugged in, it gets 3.5db louder and in my opinion is enough for a party of 20 or more people when plugged in

JBL is in a different league
The speaker box is actually made of wood which is surrounded by plastic.
I ADDED TITANIUM TWEETERS MORE CLEARER AND SOUND IS AWESOME WITH 3.3 UF METALLIZED CAPS AS THIS JBL PARTYBOX 300 IS DULL IN SOUND AND MUDDY,,, ITS SOUNDS GOOD WITH TITANUIM TWEETERS AND IT SOUND LIKE A PRO

Dammm..., that review just made me gave up hope on buying this JBL 300. Delay on videos, slow bluetooth connection 😒 🙄, more that 20 people talking can kill the sound of it...
