I had a 25 year absence from Disneyland. While waiting to get through the turnstiles the train pulled into the station. I heard that whistle and bell. My eyes welled up and there was no way to hold back the tears. I knew that I was home.
When I go to sleep at night, the way I get all the day or week thoughts out of my head is taking the grand circle tour of the magic Kingdom, I literally have the words to the ride memorized! Thanks for refreshing my memory. Bob the welder

When I ride trains at theme parks, I like to ride right behind the locomotive, just to hear the sounds the train makes. I love steam locomotives. Unfortunately I was not able to hear any chugging in this video.
I was born and raised in Southern California. We had season passes every year or we used our California ID to get a discount.. I looked through the comments to see if anyone else noticed how empty the park is.. I mean back in the 80s and 90s when I was going weekly I never have seen it that empty. Hopefully someone can enlighten me as to why it's so empty. Small world has not one single person in line.. Thats absolutely unheard of in my day.. Has the woke Disney revolt been that bad??? I am truly shocked at the lack of people in the park.. Never seen it that empty.. Wow.. I guess it comes down to playing stupid games, win stupid prizes!!! I am absolutely dumbfounded at the lack of patrons..

never knew the train ride has indoor scenes at the end. Never been on it, as it i always thought it was "get me from point a to point b" thing.
sadly the Disneyland Railroad is down right now, they are replacing the tracks.
They may be a greedy company, but they sure did made their own little narrow gauge railway.
