    what's so great about this video is that since i don't work with vocals, i just kept substituting "vocals" for "guitars" and realized that so much of the things to keep in mind when mixing vocals definitely translate for guitars, in particular, clean guitars (i'm thinking of the mostly unwanted noises, nailing the performance, the massive dynamic range etc.) yeah this is just super valuable.

    Some good tips here. I like vocals to sound natural, but lip smacks or too much breath can be annoying. I actually like sibilance with female singers.

    Please what is the disadvantage of starting the mix with the vocals first?
