Things recenlty are lil bit rought and ''funny''. Some application just didn't come through as smooth as I thought. I did my part to create as much buffer time that I can. And suppose things should be really on schedule. However, there came quite a lot of unexpected delay.
Surely it created some unsettling feelings in me. And it makes me think about the mystery.
Sometimes we don't understand the reasons behind. And how easy christians will reason for what has happened.
In a friend's wedding which came across with bad weather. While the rain stopped and the sun came out during their ceremony, they said God is so good and loves them so much, for he made the rain stopped during their wedding.
Well, if I were young, I would buy into this claim. But as I grew up and think about the biblical way of seeing how God's work is. I would rather keep my mouth shut and simply confess that I don't understand.
I had a discussion with a friend about this as well. She said ''Well, what if the wedding was carried out under bad weather, does it mean God doesn't love you? Or would you say ''God loves you so much so that he challenges your love with such weather?''
That sounds silly.
Well obviously we human beings like to reason for the mystery. Our brain just loves to know the why. We are not good at sitting with not knowing and not understanding.
The fact is, Lord has overcome the world. And he loves you weather the weather is bad or not.
If the weather is good under the sun, congratz and it is a huge bonus. If the weather was bad? Accept it for what it is.
Knowing the fact for what it is, is not that hard. But not to reason for it is another story.
Yes I know God has overcome the world.
One more thing.
Recenlty, I just noticed that there are lots of people who are interested in crystals and stuff. Well just the way how people are obsessed with Feng Shui.
And there are those natural crystal bracelets. Many said they strengthend the fields (magnetic) and bring you good fortunes. Ok, you know it.
But I ponder a while...
Do I trust God would overcome for me? Especially when God is silent?
Remember Saul who did things his way while he didn't wait for Samuel? The silence is hard to tolerate. And I would think, many people just avoid putting out hard work. They want the least amount effort but aim for biggest reward. And the crystal brings them security, aka better feelings.
That makes them not able to trust themselves, whether they have a God or not. They don't want to be responsible to their actions and life. And there comes creativity constipation. They have some ideas but cannot make it into reality. It turns to frustrations. That easily turn to resentment when things don't work out and this feelings are even more intense when they see people around them are leading good lives.
As christians, how you sustain yourself in the period of silence? There are no reasons for the silence. And it is simply it. Better just say I don't know. But what I know is, My God has overcome the world. And that's it.
So when I was playing this music, I prayed for those who are waiting for God's help, and those who are sitting rather uncomfortably, accept the mystery and just to be reminded that He has overcome the world.
Coming back to my personal challenges, I honestly don't understand but I don't need to understand either. I just take whatever steps that I have to, in order to move on with my goals.
