Im surprised stock went up
Plenty of time before market open
Because they buy it back. Best innovation that they come up with lately
Please do Starbuck!
Innovation will ultimately come and occur. It’s in the company DNA
Thank you Colin love the financial statement analysis👍👍
Can you do a video for Cloudflare Earnings (NET) ?
would be nice if it dropped to $150. Doesn't look like it will anytime soon.
Stock market is an irrational place. Meta beat every metric the stock -15%. Apple udnerperform almost every metric +10%. WTF
It was a terrible ER. This stock could have tanked if it’s not for shares buybacks and raising dividends. They completely stopped any innovation or new products or technology under Tim cook
Called inventor dilema
Stagnation. Higher growth elsewhere
Is it good or bad long term?
That is the million dollar answer. Cook lead team hasn't innovate for past couple of years. They rely on stock buyback to keep the share price at current level.
Geno cide joe's administration constantly provoking Chinese, stirring negative sentiment to hurt AAPL's market share in Chinese market. It would be tough for AAPL's revenue outlook.
SELL
They should not have canceled the Apple Car. That would have been a major player in its revenues. Everyone wants a good premium car, not just cheap Teslas and Chinese EVs.
Market flash crash 2024 may 3rd incoming imo
After election my guy
buybacks are pointless they need to invest in new products.
Couple of thoughts on that. First things first, where and in what new killer product would they invest in it? Can you think of anything? Apparently Apple's management can't. They may have just decided that they're bottlenecked on where they can deploy that cash and realize a return. They're already spending about $7-8b per quarter on R&D. After they finally mothballed the car project and the flop that is the AR headset, I think this is the correct move.
@@jackofthecoke Begs the question if they're going to turn into a services based company.
@@jackofthecokeI think what you say is true and generally known and the frustration is that this company with literally unlimited resources available for many years are unable to create or execute. They are great at charging premiums to partners and customers on purchases and transactions; fantastic at that! So, where is the money going? What are they doing? The feeling is definitely leaning towards: 🙄
@@breadloaf2163 Let's be honest. Cook is no Jobs. Cook is just benefiting from his legacy and charging subscription services on top of the hardware that Jobs got credit for. What more do you expect from a hum drum supply chain ops dude? Not a lot!
The products of apple are just too good, I have iphone12, why do I need a new one? My father still uses a MacBook 2011 and it works perfectly. I have endless stuff from apple, everything works perfectly and I do not need anything else.
There is absolutely nothing good about buying back your own shares but rather genetating the revenue and profit from selling products. Apple is in big trouble in Asia, and they don't have a game-changer future products to put out there.
Perhaps it is better to put that money in R&D or pay down the debt.
Steve Jobs would never buyback the shares with amount of money...He would invest in creativity and game changer product and drive the company's mission statement.
Nothing good about buying back stocks??? Just look at the return of autozone dude.
Stock manipulation at its best... i bet they had contracts behind the market with big ines like Berkshire Blackrock and Vanguard.
OMG, what one has to read
Over priced things sales across every industry is going down.
