"A Night at the Opera" is Alice's second and final short film: Otherlands. It enters the mind of Richard Wagner.

Alice finds employment at the Royal Opera House in London, working behind the scenes. She talks about how his parents used to describe him, saying that "it was the only place on earth where dreams come true." Despite her words, Alice hasn't actually seen one of the shows, even after the events of the fire.
While placing the books on the shelf, she accidentally hits a medium-sized glass orb and it falls to the ground, rolling into a miniature diorama of a stage. She follows a paper cutout of an opera singer and crawls through the curtains to the main stage, where she notices that Richard Wagner is on a trumpet podium. He prepares to direct his opera; Der Ring des Nibelungen. The curtains open to reveal an underwater background. Alice looks at the sudden scenery and notices Alberich from across the stage rushing over to her and ripping off her Omega necklace.
Alice can only gawk at her retreating figure as Wagner turns to the next page of her score, then the backdrop changes to the evening sky. A Valkyrie descends and lifts Alice up and takes her to Valhalla, leaves her in front of the throne. Wotan orders Alice to retrieve her stolen necklace because it contains a secret that could end the world, and she suddenly transforms Alice into a Valkyrie. She and the other Valkyries set out to defeat Alberich in a mountain cavern.
Once there, they fight Alberich, who has transformed into a skeletal dragon using the power obtained from his necklace. They successfully kill him and he slowly reverts to his dwarf self. Later, Alice and the Valkyries return to the palace and she gives her necklace to Wotan. When he grabs the necklace, the sky turns red and fire rises under the mountain where the palace resides. She reveals her plan: "Now the Earth will be reborn from the ashes!" An enraged Alice stands up against him and uses her spear to stab him in the eye, killing him in the process.
Alice awakens to find herself on the stage floor just as Wagner finishes his opera, and behind her is Valhalla engulfed in flames as the curtains close. Then she states that "she has enough theater for a while" and there her adventure ends.

:){no es por nada pero este estilo me hizo pensar que alice y coraline tienen un poquito en común,... mundo "imaginario" bonito que luego se vuelve retorcido, un gato delgato que te da consejos y cuando cambia el escenario cambian de ropa, solo algo gracioso que pensé.
Hmm jeje... si se hubiera llamado: Alice y el "teatro" secreto.
Ese hubiera sido mi remate.
Edith: así, y en ambos hay una opera, y también parece quedar bien el título de: Coraline y el "mundo" de las maravillas. Más o menos.
