I had a group interview - I was really finding it hard to know weather to speak up or let others speak - some people were dominating and I didn't want to interrupt them and I couldn't say anything. We had a problem to solve and I wanted to work with the group but thought I'd better not be the leader and one guy took over. This video advice is very helpful - good tip about putting up hand and saying may I give my opinion.

Love the intelligent detailed insights! A quick thought - there may be an industry vernacular way of speaking but I think I would say "become a cabin crew member" not "become a cabin crew" as cabin crew is plural not singular. Keep up the excellent training videos!

Hello, Hope you’re having a great year so far. I had a small question. Is it true that you need to fly domestic for certain period of time before flying International? If so, for how long will we fly domestic?

Hello! Thank you for these videos, they are so helpfuk. I had a question if you could help me with that. On the Singapore Airlines website, there is only a single option of 'Upload your resume' So should I compile the Cover letter, Resume and the passport size and full size pictures into a single pdf and upload it?
After you upload your resume, the next page asks you for other details and also there is an option where you can attach your profile photo. So i suggest on the first page, either attach a cover letter with your resume in the doc or pdf format.

1. i read in Qualified Sq is must diploma in some experience job ? what exactly is that ? it must previous job from hospitality? my background diploma is medical. i am midwife , and still working on it since 2013. it's counting some experience job ? or it must working at hotel ?
2. my height is 162cm and weight 54 kg ? BMI 20,58 , did i must lose weight ?
3. my teeth is not perfect inside , 2 tooth is missing ? but if i wide smile is not looked from outside , is gonna be trouble ? did SQ just wanna FA with perfect teeth, i mean all teeth is complete ?
3. is that grammar in high level english must be good ?

Hi Dear. First, all the best for the interview.
1) Experience can be anything. Medical is good because cabin crew are first aids on flight as well. Hospitality is also good as its customer service.
2) BMI is an average. As long as you look proportionate, its fine. Not too overweight or underweight.
3) Aesthetics has to be good. Perfect smile is good. Tooth missing depends on their doctors, how they deem it appropriate. This i cant comment for you.
4) You should be able to communicate confidently and effectively. Good english will be helpful.

Thanks for your videos, currently in Poly, hoping to become air steward hopefully at SIA after NS. If i fail interview, might try a couple times before looking at Emirates. My question is,
1) including all of the allowances, how much can you expect to get on an average month in terms of total salary? 2) on the worst month roster wise, what can you expect to get?

Forgot to include, just 1 more question, what some perks you can get from SIA? Such as, Emirates provide gym discount for many gyms, free dry cleaning at designated places.
gohjy271 As the Job is purely commissioned base, salary does vary. My Singapore friends used to earn anything between 4-5K and sometimes more.
Also I will be launching my online classes very soon to personally coach. Will keep you posted if you are keen :)

gohjy271 the perks keep changing so it really depends what they offer you when you join. Overseas yes you could use facilities in the gym and hotel but local really depends

Hi Pramila. SIA has good medical and salary incentives like any other airline. Also, in terms of accommodation every airline has different criteria.

Hello mam, first of all thank you for such helpful videos. actually I'm pursuing training if air hostess from Frankfinn institute pune India. I really wanna join Singapore airlines. I have a query that I'm only 19 years old and I have read on sia website that min age they require is 18 . so if I clear interview if I give my best and crack it so can they hire me.. can they hire fresher as I'm only 19 years old..? please reply mam.. thank you😃
Hi Aditi. I really hope you clear the interview. SIA also requires you to be a degree holder when you are applying from India which will take another two years i believe. You can apply for other airlines in the mean time. Read the link below to know more about SIA requirements.

what is the fresher salary of a cabin crew
It really depends on the airline that you are applying for but be rest assured it is way above the average salary. When i last left Singapore airlines, my basic was approx SGD1500.
