By the way,
I forgot to do a cutting test. She is SHARP!!! My apologies.
Beautiful knife! Got the orange camel bone coming in the mail. 👍
C-Note Mac Thank you!👍 Glad to hear!!! I wish I had the funds or I would have picked one up. That's orange camel bone is nice!
I got a PPP red jigged bone Tidoute myself after watching this! Awesome knives!! I love the pull and flow of the pull on mine. It's about a 5 pull and walks and talks real nice to me. I am certainly very, very pleased.
Chaparral Watch Restoration Glad to hear!!! Red is my favorite color, so I wish I would've snagged one. My funds were busted after picking up the Beaver Tail and Frontier Bone.
Just beautiful. I just started collecting GEC's after many years of collecting Case knives. i'm very pleased with the F & F so far. I have a new #35 Churchill in Gabon Ebony that I can't stop fondling. This is on my short list for the next purchase.
I love train noise:)
40belowful Yea, it's really cool at night, when sitting on my back my back porch. Thanks fornthe comment! 👍👊
Beautiful knife!, i have one coming in with cocobolo handle, cant wait to get it, keep up the videos!
Nice choice on the covers. The Rust Red Jigged bone in that pattern they just finished looks amazing also.
grizzcon2 Thanks! Indeed! I believe this may be a popular pattern all together. I've seen a lot of happy people in past couple of days.
Got one in natural micarta on the way. Thanks for sharing👍
I bought my #43 "S" Frontier bone last year. I call it my GEC ugly knife. I use the hell out of it and the patina shows ! The pre 2015 Frontier bone knives were really "Oily Creek" bone. Why in the hell would GEC make this ugly bone knife , when they could of just made more Oily Creek bone knives ??? I was late on the #43 run. So I bought two "S" #43 knives. My #43 "S" Orange Camel bone is really a light strawberry camel bone color. I bought some black Fiebing's leather dye on Evil-bay. I lightly popped the #43 Frontier bone with the black dye. The lightly dark chocolate shading makes my knife look so much better.
That is so nice. I have one with the rust red jigged bone on the way.
brandon mitchell Thanks bother! Congrats on the RRJB! 👍👊
I'm thinking that when it comes to traditional pattern folding knives made by a factory, GEC is as good as it gets. If you want better, then you have to go to a custom knife maker. Do you think I am right, or not?
Yep, I totally agree. 👍
Frontier bone use to be Oily Creek bone. In 2015 The name "Oily Creek Bone" came to play. Now this Frontier bone color is horrible compared to Oily Creek Bone color. I bought this Frontier bone #43 "S" knife you a user. I popped mine with Fiebing's "black" leather dye. My knife look so much better now.
I don’t have one of these but maybe I should.
Markstervideo They are great! Very nice in the hand.
So torn between micarta and beaver tail..
RMFN Yep! I couldn't resist the beaver tail! ! ! 🤗
