NIULAND'S ROAD WOES: GBS URGE SWIFT ACTION AS TRAVELERS FACE DETOURS

Due to massive landslides on NH 29, commuters and travelers are using alternative routes from Dimapur through Niuland to Zhadima to reach Kohima. However, the poor road conditions in Niuland District are causing difficulties for commuters. The Niuland District GBs Association has raised concerns with the authorities, urging them to address the issue promptly.

The prevalent tribalistic mindset among Nagas, including our leaders, hinders progress in Nagaland. As long as nepotism, tribalism, and favoritism persist, our state will stagnate. Development projects, such as National Highways, should prioritize land stability and feasibility, but often, roads are constructed solely for tribal or community convenience, leading to disasters like the current situation.
The government must find an alternative solution, like a two-lane National Highway connecting Kohima via Zhadima, Ghotovi, Niuland, and Dimapur, ensuring long-term safety and development without bias. It's time to shift our focus from tribal interests to the greater good of Nagaland.

Niuland to Phekerkriema will be more Appropriate because the road after Gotovi come Phekerkriema.
Zhadima comes after Phekerkriema so I request the Journalist to kindly mention.

I was watching whether they will mention any of the Rengma villages in regards to the road that leads to Kohima from Niuland, but at last Ghotovi GB mention Tsosinyu Village, which falls under Tseminyu district, thanks to him. This road passes through two Rengma villages i.e. Logwesunyu and Tsosinyu. The media or the leaders should not miss out to meantion the area that they are passing through.
The government should also maintained this road on a regular basis, as this road can he used during an emergency situations.

I have taken this road too.
As far as the sumi areas the roads are fully kacha roads.
As soon as the angami areas starts, the roads are black topped roads.

Dear bro! This is why I say research properly and think twice before you say. The road is now taken care by the BRTF and they're doing the work.. Don't worry they'll come that way but it's gonna take time. They're slow! Almost took 6yrs to cover nearly 25km.

Clarify your confusion yes Shri Jepitoshe Jekha is the first president of Niuland district GB association but unfortunately he is discontinued to president post because of his health problems.❤
