    Great review. You are always a positive guy. Some reviewers can get too critical and nitpick.

    Thanks for another wonderful video. I know you appreciate small footprints. What’s your take on toiletry rolls? I use one from Osprey that is extremely light weight, problem free over two years now and you can cinch it down really small.

    Good product indeed but there is another one just like this one but with more space and pockets and the name is gravel explorer plus and slim.Take a look at it,you will like it.

      Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! I actually did a video for the Gravel Explorer slim a little while back and I thought it was pretty good! I do prefer the more simple organization of this one as it felt like i could fit more in the bag, but definitely another good option for people looking for this style of toiletry bag =)

    Great Vid thank u. Between this and the Aer Travel kit, which would you go for?

      Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I'm glad the video was helpful! Both have been nice to use, but I would still lean towards the Aer Travel Kit as I prefer the look and the way the organization is laid out a little bit more. Hope that helps and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer =)

    Im torn between the Nomatic Small and the Aer Travel Kit. I think the material in the Nomatic is better that Aer (at least, it appears this way on both reviews) but I enjoyed the form factor of Aer Travel Kit. Right now leaning towards the Nomatic.

      Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! If you like the form factor and organization of the Aer bag I think it would be the better option as it still has really durable materials! Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any questions I can help answer about either one =)

      Aer Tavel Kit has Cordura 1680D and YKK zippers. In terms of 'quality' of material, Aer is definitely better.

    I prefer something that's clear and ultralight. Sea To Summit See Pouch is still my favourite but in most cases a cheap zip lock bag would do find as well

      @dannypacks  5 лет назад

      Thank you for watching and for sharing! Thats a good point on having something clear I think that definitely helps whenever airport security wants to take a closer look at something inside the bag. I haven't used the sea to summit pouch yet, but ill have to check it out! and I have to agree on the zip lock bag haha that was my go to toiletry bag for many years! =)

    But where is your shampoo conditioner lotion and body wash or soap gonna go. Are you carrying a separate bag for that?

      Thank you for watching and good question! I depends on the type, if I’m traveling for a longer time or going somewhere I’m not sure I’ll be able to buy the products I will use then I do take an additional clear bag for some of those types of toiletries. If I’m trying to travel more minimally tho and either use travel sized liquids or just use the hotels than this is normally enough space:)

    This or the gravel explorer slim? What are the main differences besides the vertical vs horizontal layout.

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you for watching and good question! The biggest differences are the way the pockets are laid out and the size of the pockets that are offered. So in the Nomatic for example the toothbrush compartment is on the outside which I don't like too much since you can't get to it when the bag is hanging whereas it is inside on the gravel explorer slim. I do however prefer the simpler internal organization offered by the Nomatic bag. The gravel explorer slim has more smaller compartments but I feel like that restricts you a little in how much you can fit overall and it kind of forces you to organize in a certain way. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags =)

      @@dannypacks Thanks for the reply. I've been researching about travel bags/accessories and you've been a great source for a lot of the items that came on my radar. Keep up the great work. Still debating on this or the Gravel(Mainly due to the layout being more of a space saver on the Nomatic)

    Nice review! I was wondering, what brand of foldable comb was that, how sturdy would you say it is, and would you recommend it? The last foldable comb I had snapped at the hinge on me mid-use, so I've been a bit wary of them ever since. I don't have crazy thick hair, but it does have a fair amount of resistance when combing, especially after putting a little product into it.

      Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I’m glad the video was helpful! I’m actually not sure about the brand of the comb, it was something I got for free in a toiletry kit on a flight haha it doesn’t feel super sturdy but my hair is super simple so it works for me and has held up pretty well. I really like the concept of a foldable come tho so I will definitely keep an eye out for a good one to feature on the channel:)

      Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I really appreciate the support! And that’s a good suggestion, I haven’t tried toiletry rolls before but I think I have seen a few from osprey that looked really interesting. I have been a little hesitant to try them because it seemed like they would get bulky when rolled up but if the one you use cinches down right i would definitely interested in checking that out!:)
