Beware of ''one time subscription'' companies making software, you pay and it feels like you bought it, but the minute your internet is down, you cant use it, if they go bust and go or get bought out, you cant use it, if your at your non-internet cabin in the woods, you cant use it... so as you need 'permission' from their server for it to run, what did you pay for??? you didnt buy anything your just renting permission from them, if its one payment or monthly the end result is the same, you own nothing.... I fell for this, I paid for doodly and cant use it without a connection to them and i don't always have internet when/where I want to work, so I feel they effectively control my creativity....
