- Resident Evil, known in Japan as Biohazard, is a Japanese horror video game series and media franchise created by Capcom. It consists of survival horror, third-person shooter, and first-person shooter games. The franchise has expanded into a live-action film series, animated films, television series, comic books, novels, audio dramas, and other media and merchandise.
The first Resident Evil was created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara and released for the PlayStation in 1996. It is credited for defining the survival horror genre and returning zombies to popular culture. With Resident Evil 4 (2005), the franchise shifted to more dynamic shooting action; it influenced the evolution of the survival horror and third-person genres, popularizing the "over-the-shoulder" third-person view. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017) moved the series to a first-person perspective.

Capcom is screwing with the RE fanbase specially with these quickly updates of monster hunter wild everytime In these events we think there will finally show RE9 trailer but no another monster hunter wild trailer and there people saying that Capcom don't want to take the hype away from monster hunter wild. Back in 2020 monster hunter rise marketing was doing awesome while RE8 was kinda stale specially around TGS 2020 and disrespect the RE fans as well.
Why would they reveal it at state of play 😂😂 Isn't it i obvious the reveal is going to be at Tokyo Game Show, you know the one that's literally set in Japan.

They never promised they were gonna reveal it at any event. If you want to blame anyone blame RUclipsrs like the uploader who creates all this hype for something that is literally just speculation

Inpatient child ? ,(sigh) Whatever man as we re fans we know there was supposed to be a new reveal this year like dusk golem stated it was delayed this summer and people talking about it Early? They don't really understand how the re pattern goes . RE7 announced 2016 released 2017. RE2 2018-2019. RE8 2020-2021. RE4R 2022-2023. (RE3 was done by M2) RE9 2024-2025 since the announcement was delayed this summer thinking that it was being saved for fall.
Im thinking there is something really wrong with capcom.

Other than disappointed about no RE news, I was kinda happy to see a ps5 version of Horizon Zero Dawn. Those games were fun. Also even though I just beat Astrobot recently, it's kinda cool for there to be some dlc content coming soon.
