I first watched this in the late 80s on rental VHS, before buying it on VHS and DVD! Strictly for the die-hard Madonna fans only - it's so great to be able to see her when she was so young. My favourite scene is when Madonna first appears, dancing in the fountain - she looks so beautiful :)
I watched this film so many times in the late 80s that the music really grew on me - I personally really love the final song "Say Goodbye So Long Farewell".

This is such a horrible movie, I can understand why Madonna fought this movie to not come out . I love Madonna, and I get it is a collectible for anyone who is collecting. I have Shanghai Surprise !
