What sets this song apart from Hazardous Environments (And Black Mesa from Half Life in general) is how hopeful it sounds. Hazardous Environments felt like Spooky Atmospheric music, while Surface Tension 2 pumps you up and gets you ready for what's coming next. It's a great track, and a worthy successor to Hazardous Environments
probably the most badass track you made, at this moment I feel like Gordon is full of confidence and determination,he's fully convinced that he will make it, nothing can stop him. In my opinion, this is by far the best track in the game. There's a lot to love about it, and hearing this song on the cliffside left me in awe. Fantastic moment in a fantastic game.
To differentiate between the different versions of Surface Tension on my phone, I gave each one a "nickname". Reflecting Freeman's status as barely holding on, fighting a one man war on two fronts, as well as his physical location at the time when this song starts, I re-named this one "Cliffhanger". Found it quite fitting.
This is the moment you realize how persistent and determinant gordon is to accomplish his objective, pretty fitting considering this is the longest chapter of the series
I love how the beginning has similar vibes to Hazardous Environments. After all, this is the song that takes it's place in Black Mesa. And with it being such a unique, iconic, and recognizable song that it's become Valve's *theme*, it'd just be rude not to pay homage to it. This song does that very well and I've always loved it for that.
Best song in the game - so short but so damn sweet. I love how it's the placeholder for the soundtrack that served as the original Valve opening logo score too - that electronic opening drumbeat would be AWESOME as a backdrop on "Crowbar Collective" opening logo

We've added an option to the main menu to completely disable that functionality. The .357 and crossbow are the only weapons that you can use the sights on."
By far one of the best tracks in this game full of amazing tracks. The drums evoke Hazardous Environments while the guitar evokes a badass action movie feel. Black Mesa was very Hollywood, and that's a great thing. Man, you really knocked it out of the park.
