Whelp, you just made me order one :) Thank you for this video btw and for your work in general. I'm just at the beginning of exploring your work on Soundcloud :) For the unlikely case of you wanting to visit Switzerland: Leave me a message, I'll gladly be your tour guide. And you won't have to take a break from making music if you don't want to, I have synths from Access, Moog, Dave Smith, Teenage Engineering and some other audio goodies (Ableton) here which you can put to much better use than me. Just take your camera with you, I lack a decent one :P
Great demo Jeremy. I just posted a similar demo (not as good) but I am loving the FM synthesis and the SRR is also reeeeaaaallly nice. And the LFO's, sample import, I could go on. Have you checked out the new metal case available ?
+fabrizio tocco The only other project I've soldered was the Meeblip. I did not find the LXR to be difficult to assemble. Just take your time, double check your steps as you go through. The build instructions are excellent.
Hi Jeremy....I have a question...My LXR DON'T WORKS BUT IF I PULL OUT THE JACK FROM THE AUDIO OUTPUT STEP SEQUENZER STOP RUNNING AND NOW IF I PUT MY STEPS ALL WORKS RIGHT...Have you got any solutions? Thanks
@@difflocktwo thanks, I realised that it's just i. Edit view May I ask you if you know how many patter is possible to save? I can just 8,but I need. Ore in 1/2h performance
@@GigiDAmico Each 8 you can save. Then you can load an other 8 (takes a few seconds). The new set will not play until you press of of the 1-8 pattern buttons.
@@GigiDAmico I think all is patterns and sounds. There should be patterns only if I remember correctly. You could try All but not sure how it will behave.
thanks for making this man, most video's don't realy fit a lot of melodic stuff in there.
now I realy want one.
Ewoud Beaufays its a great piece of kit!
putting mine together now. soldering is meditation.
POOBAH GRANDE I really loved the build process too.
Beautiful tone out of it... Very versatile.
Love the bass line....LXR can do it all it seems. Nice!
Ammanuel Tekeste It's an amazingly competent synth.
Great demo!
The first time is to see synthesizer ! Good sound !
SHIN 1976 I think you would do amazing things with one.
Could you upload and share the kit! Wow I can’t make stuff like this on mine...

That is an awesome offer, thank you! And stoked for you getting an LXR. They're really cool machines.
almost reminds me of the orb little fluffy clouds only these clouds are in the matrix and slightly dark and foreboding... but thats a good thing.
thanks
this thing is pretty out there..!
+theycallmejpj it's capable of both classic drum machine sounds and crazy digital synth sounds. It's awesome.
Does the manual cover how to save and load? So much sound and more when parameter locked subtracts are added. Cool track
Ammanuel Tekeste It absolutely does. The manual is well written and the community / forum is a wealth of knowledge.
also sd card save pattern or samples i can use it....I ve got to reprogram all every time
Did u solve ur problem ?

Makes it look "like a bought one".
+jizzmaster2000 Just took a look at it. It's amazing. Totally changes how the box looks, makes it very sleek and cool. Too bad they're out of stock!
please make another one! i there a place to share LXR patches? (the LXR forum is very dead)
i have them on my SD card somewhere. when i get back onto the LXR i'll share.
@@RedMeansRecording please share your patches!
hi Jeremy, i've Just order The xlr...It's difficult to assembly?

+fabrizio tocco that sounds really weird. I would recommend asking over at www.sonic-potions.com/forum. They're usually very helpful!
for example: when all the tracks are playing, how do you recognise which track is selected in order to edit?
the leds are all blinking
thanks
Press the button before editing. You can see the solid led which is not blinking too.

does it have that bit crushed sound because of the resolution of the oscillators or because you're using the bit crush effect?
the latter
Have had mine for 5 months, still no idea how to do anything close to this.
its a deep machine
