Excellent video my favourite was Bris Vegas but I will always love my old army base home of Townsville !Take care Stay safe Keep up the high quality work
Thank you for making these videos. I will be in Australia for the first time ever in February and your videos have helped me so much with planning my trip!
Oh my gosh, you're very welcome :) I am so happy the videos were all helpful! Have an AMAZING time on your trip - I've no doubt you're going to love it here! Phoebe x
Oh wow! I'm so glad you got to visit and loved those spots :) The Great Barrier Reef is so special... I have a particular love for the Southern Great Barrier Reef, around Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave islands... there are so many turtles there, it's magical! Phoebe x
Oh good! I'm so glad this was helpful - there are so many beautiful spots to road trip too around Brissie and I know all the locals in those regional gems will value our hard-earned tourist dollars :D P x
Loved this video!!!! Being Brissie locals, we also love showing our beautiful city off on our channel too. Have you ever been to Maleny? If not, I really think you would love it and there are some beautiful B&B's to stay at too!
I’m so glad you loved it and it gets the local seal of approval 😍 ooooh! I love Maleny - I’ve dropped way too much cash at the Maleny Cheese place on multiple occasions 😂 Spicers Tamarind is my fav spot up there for sure!! We’ll have to make a video all about the region once local travel is open again (perfect excuse hehe) thanks for watching! P xx
@@travelforphoebe It will be so good to be able to support local business after everything settles and you're right...it's a perfect excuse to visit the region :) We love stopping off at the Cheese Factory and local wineries. Perfect for a romantic weekend away!
Love the video. I'm a local, have only been to about half of these places, Keen to check out the rest. I love Girraween one of my favorite hike/camping places.
Girraween is sooo beautiful! I can't believe only started visiting a few years ago! Geez... I can't wait for us to be able to do some local QLD adventures again. I'm starting to get real restless in this house haha. Thanks so much for watching! P xx
I loved the ones known for hikes, wildlife and swimming the most 🐠 ! There’s so much I haven’t seen yet in Australia and Queensland. I’ve only been to Brisbane with their Botanical gardens and public swimming pool in South Bank and the one you didn’t mention: Gold Coast / Surfers Paradise. I found Gold Coast a little overrated to be honest. Once COVID-19 is over, I’ll make sure to come back, hopefully on a permanent residence visa. There’s at least 3 tours already on my travel list, which are Brisbane to Cairns, Perth to Darwin and Auckland to Christchurch in New Zealand. Many more to come of course, but you’ll have to keep dreaming, right? Thanks for sharing your top spots and have a great weekend! 🤙
Hahaha we always just keep adding places onto your list, Felix 😂😍 I love that you’ve been to so many local spots already! I agree with you about the Gold Coast. The sad part is, like a lot of places around the world, it’s one of those spots that if you know where to go, it’s awesome! But the touristy spots are dull. Next time I can give you some tips to help you find those awesome spots 😍😍 Wow! Permanent Resident! Well, Australia would be lucky to have you 😊 Keep well - P x
Love that video and just subscribed. I live in the Gold Coast and lots of Gold Coasters think Brisbane is a hole, but I disagree. I love Brisbane. Love the West End, Southbank, Mt Cootha, Sunnybank and partying in Fortitude Valley. I used to live in Childers near Bundaberg and Childers has taken off after the backpackers hostel fire. I can recommend Woodgate, it’s a very peaceful & tranquil beach.
I love that entire region of Queensland. I was born in Gladstone so Rocky, Bundy and all those regional spots in Queensland have a very special spot in my heart. The people are always so down to earth and really good fun too :) I'd love to make a YT video series showing more of those spots! Thanks so much for watching, glad you don't think BNE is a hole hahaha P x
Where is that waterfall in the toowoomba section? we recently moved to the lockyer valley and the lack of waterfalls here has been my nightmare haha this could redeem the area for me 😍 love yout videos!
Hahaha oh no - this is not good news for you - that isn’t a natural waterfall 😂 it’s the man made one at Picnic Point!! I’m so sorry haha. But I’m sure there are others nearby! Try this post: dandydaysgoods.com/5-picturesque-waterfalls-near-toowoomba/
Phoebe & Matt, I’m 33 years old & believe it or not, I’m yet to visit Queensland!, my goal is to visit every Australian state & territory by the time I’m🤞40!
Hahaha that’s a GREAT plan!! I’ve never been to Tasmania or properly done WA AND NT! We’re thinking of doing a Tasmanian RV road trip at some point. Ahhh, so many travel plans. I’m starting to get a bit stir crazy at home 😬 P x
I also forgot to mention, if you up towards Cairns (let's be honest, you need to head up there) you need to stop into the golden drop winery, just outside of Mareeba. Especially if you love mangos (which Qlder doesn't love mangos). They do mango wines, ports and other great things
Hello!! Gold Coast has some great spots 😊❤️ We decided not to include it in this one tho as it’s already so well known 👌🏻thank you so much for watching!! P xx
So I really enjoying driving through the Atherton Tablelands. If you can, go in Winter, go for a drive to Ravenshore as the sun is setting to see the fog our the mountains, and then stop at the Windy Hill Wind Farm.. www.queensland.com/en-sg/attraction/windy-hill-wind-farm-ravenshoe Absolutely incredible when the mist is on your face, definitely does not feel like Queensland
Haaaaaaahahahhahahaha 😂😂 it’s best to get it out of the way now so when you do visit you’ll be prepared! You won’t be falling for anymore of our Aussie crap 😂😍
I'm gonna be honest... I was not psyched to go to the Qantas museum. I thought it would be boring and lame but it ended up being great! Our tour guide had the most in-depth knowledge of the planes and shared all kinds of things I'd never heard before. It was also really cool to walk on the wing of a plane and be inside some of the old-school planes! haha I know how you feel... maybe when we're allowed to travel within QLD again we can all start visiting these awesome little QLD spots. There are still so many I wanna visit! I need to do more of FNQ for sure! P x
Hi phoebe ! I just sent you an email, not sure if you got it or not... but would love to have you for a quick collaboration if you are interested (super quick, only like 2 mins of your time )
Let me know if you have anymore problems with the email. Looking forward to the clip ... literally doesn’t need to take more than a minute or 2 of your time :)

Next time you visit South Australia, make sure you visit the Limestone Coast region & the Blue Lake, you won’t be disappointed.

Oooooh! That sounds so good!! Will note it down 😊 thank you
If you go in summer, as you drive into the farm, you can see the mangos on the trees.
