I get so caught up in the performance. The partnering was excellent- to keep control when you're almost upside down can't be easy! They both made up the stage and although the choreography was probably more difficult for her, with the lifts, and arabesque etc, he matched the fluidity of the movement. Wow that is a fantastic choreography. Sometimes I find with contemporary dance the dancers are great, dance is pretty, but it's too generic, there are so many dances that end up looking the same. This is a perfect unique story with beautiful twists and a proper relationship conveyed between the dancers. Well done Chase, Maya and Cruz!
I really do adore this group of young people, the joy all the clips that cross my recommended every day is immeasurable. They're so talented, and the easy camaraderie gives every grouping of them amazing chemistry. They've brought dance back to me when I desperately needed it, and all of their shenanigrams too. 😂

Damn, that's moving. A couple, both kind of freaks, connecting, but always with reoccuring difficulties. But made for wach other getting together every time again, finding their ways with each other and leaving the other one their own ways, a vivid, worthwhile relationship and then: she being the first to "go"...to die in old age, and a man being left behind, noticing that sheqas all to him, despite reoccuring littke disharmonies. Interesting how a story can come so obvious, regardless of what the choreograph intended.
It seems they are ghosts of a lover’s past as a promised yesterday utterly consumes them. The debris of a firey love in the midst of betrayal has burned them into romantic remnants, perpetually longing for another passionate dance. Together, they are ashes intrigued with fire - flickering like twin flames on the coattails of smoke but inevitably lacking in substance.
