There's this kid that goes to my shop with his brother and his dad. He's such a sweet kid, but he's got autism, like me. No one really takes the time to play with him unless I personally ask them to. It's not that he's annoying or anything, but rather, he's only 9 and can't really read what the cards do, so he relies on memory from the shows for what some of his cards do. He loves to play with me, mainly because I spend several hours with him and his brother just playing. One day, his dad and mom approached me and told me that they were so thankful that I took the time to play with their son. I said "No problem" because I've gone through what he's gone through when I was his age. Now we're all good friends and I see them like once every week.
I'm 27 years old and I would love to play yugioh with this kid and act dramatic or take the persona of a dueling character in the show. It would be fun. This young man is cool.

i'm no expert, but as someone who has been around several different people with learning difficulties, my intuitive is telling me that the young man in the denim jacket has some sort of learning difficulty. it's awesome to see that people are playing a card game with him. i hope they don't cheat in the games because they think he is dumb or something.. also i'd love to duel him, whether he is really just impersonating a character from the anime or does indeed have a learning difficulty, as he is clearly so in to the game :)

I figure it's so that when a card comes up that when activated, throws away a card from your hand, whether random or by player's choice, you don't just pick the one I drew that turn. I don't think it's against the rules, considering my hand's been shuffled in video games dating back to Dawn of Destiny. If it happens to be in TCG, I'm unsure, but maybe wait until after draw phase to shuffle hand in case a card specifically mentions sending cards you draw to the graveyard. In any case, it makes it a little more random.
