Hey guys , thanks for your great reaction to Emily's latest. This hasn't been out for two days yet and it's at 192k views, doing very well for her, as it should. This was written in 1954 and the Righteous Brothers did their version ( really Bobby Hatfield's version) in 1965. Emily gives us an amazing display of her range and vocal control here. Just beautiful. That gorgeous voice and the emotion she conveys with it are stunning. The piano playing, arrangement and solo add to making this cover unique and there are so many covers of this she had to bring something special to it and she certainly did. Thanks again and take care.

This is so wonderful, specially because Emily is also playing the piano herself. The last month more young female singers did release a cover from this song and what I like so much: each of them give their own spin to it but.... all with much respect for the orginal song.

Hi Psi and Bella, it's Mick in the UK. Sorry I am late, I've only just caught this. Thank you for your fantastic reaction and thank you Clint for promoting Unchained Melody. Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said. Emily is unbelievably fabulous. This is completely her own extended arrangement of the Righteous Brothers arrangement. The original hit single was by Al Hibbler in 1955 and got to No.1 in the US charts. Jimmy Young did a cover in the UK and also hit No.1. These early versions didn't have the high notes that you mentioned. That came with the Righteous Brothers in 1965. The song came from the 1955 film Unchained, a prison film that wasn't that successful but people loved the song and Unchained Melody became world famous. Now Emily has rearranged The Righteous Brothers version and made it her own. Gorgeous singing, and an absolutely beautiful piano arrangement starting of with chords from Ave Maria then into the main song. And as for the piano solo.....Wow!!! And the ending.....sheer perfection. All recorded live, on camera by her mom, in her home studio. Who else does that? So, thank you once again, Psi and Bella, and Clint. Take care, kind regards, Mick.

Hello Psi & Bella. I hope you're well. What an absolutely wonderful version of this timeless classic. Once again Emily adds her own unique style & shows her very wide vocal range. Her piano playing is, as always, perfection and includes an added solo. As I write this, her RUclips views for this song are 246k within 2 days of it's release. Thanks to Clint for requesting & to Psi & Bella for playing.

I’m late again, but better late than never. I don’t know why, but I don’t get notifications. Thank you so very much for your wonderful review. 🫶🌹🌹🌹🌹👏👏👏👏👏👏 This young lady just stole my heart years ago and I am always rooting for her to make the big time. One of the other reactors had mentioned that this song has been covered over 650 times, with over a thousand recordings amongst them. There isn’t any other version I would rather hear than this one, including Bobby Hatfield’s. 😊 Thanks so much Clint for recommending this to them.

Emily is such an amazing instrumentalist, piano or guitar. and at only 16 just how far can she go ? This arrangement suits her voice and she has done such a good on this. I just love watching her fingers fly up and down the piano keys !!
