This february was a pretty tough month with quite a lot of lengthy games so to make sure I made my deadlines.. I threw in one of the easier games that I have left that still required a rerecording. I knew this was going to be easy, but I didn't expect it to be THAT easy. What's funny is that the opening scene in the video makes you think the Hot Wheels are going to drive insanely fast speeds, but the actual gameplay is probably one of the slowest racing games I've ever played. Granted, there's a nitro option that I didn't even find out about until the second half but that's because the game's difficulty is so low that I wasn't required to use it. I'm not going to trash on the game because it's not a terrible game and probably very enjoyable for younger kids or those who aren't great at videogames. Nonetheless, the final boss fight was actually a tad difficult lol
I can't forget all the maps this game has, since I stopped playing the game I got all in my head. So many memories but not just memories, the map itself, this game felt different, like dark and empty, don't know how to describe it. If you played this and hotweels beat that, you know the difference. Weird vibes

Used to play this at a local internet cafe. I remember most of the kids were playing either CS 1.4 or Fifa 2001 i think. I booted up this game randomly and had a blast. Velocity X , Bash Arena, World Race,all fantastic games for their time =]
I believe i made it all the way to story mission 14 not realizing you could swap weapons. Got stuck for that reason. Eventually figured it out and unlocked everything. Spent most of my time in battle mode with unlimited timer and 30 kill limit.
bro the intro always got me so hyped but my disc would always crash in my computer:(( all I remember were spiked wheels and a ramp but the intro was sooo fire
If there's one i know about these kinds of hot wheels video games is that for the ones with a story mode always have something to do with a scientist with an obligatory robot sidekick and some teenagers that are the scientist's friends. I saw this in hot wheels unleashed 2's story mode

Although this was 2 years ago, this game is hard if you up the difficulty. Picking the right car and weapon on Very Hard is key to beating the story 👀

Hands down my favorite “Hot Wheels” game. The end credits even appears to be a shoutout to “Mystery Science Theater 3000”. I can tell.
