      So tired in the evenings when I try to learn Spanish. BUT... I have a new plan! I will do your tutorials early in the morning to learn vocab and sentence structure, etc. Then with earphones I will work on pronunciation for the rest of the day. Marvelous plan, no?😊

    The formal “you” (usted) should be used instead of “tú” because “usted” is always correct while “tu” is not used much in some countries such as Colombia.

    Why use such non-literal translation like "sounds good" for "de acuerdo"? "I agree" would be closer to the Spanish and perfectly understandable in English. "Sounds good" is needlessly different.

      It’s good feedback - but I also want to remind that there’s no such thing as a literal translation. You also have connotation and just how things are generally received. For example, in the shitty Spanish education I got growing up we were taught “cómico”,
      meaning funny. Come to find out that’s actually slightly insulting and the better word is divertido - but they both more or less translate to the same thing

    why say Esta aqui vs Este aqui?

    • @SpanishWithLiliana
      @SpanishWithLiliana  Год назад +3

      It is means "esta" or "es" in Spanish. In this case, "it is here" would be "esta aquí".
      "Este" can mean "this one".

    Why "Que horrible" a "Qué lindo" can not use the same word "Qué" even they are all means "How". Thanks for answer. 😢

    • @SpanishWithLiliana
      @SpanishWithLiliana  9 месяцев назад +1

      It is the same, I must have forgotten the accent on one. Pronunciation is the same for both though 🤗

    Are these phrases translated from a dictionary, or are they phrases that Spaniards use in everyday speech?

    • @SpanishWithLiliana
      @SpanishWithLiliana  Год назад +2

      All phrases are chosen by me and yes, they are used on a daily basis. Thanks!
