My Mother has an old Grimms fairy tales book and I'd always ask for the 12 Dancing Princesses when she'd read to me and my brother back in the day. I'm loving this video!

Ah, yes, you got the uncensored versions of the tales as well. There are some texts online that use the Grimm text but replace some of the details. For example, Rumpelstiltskin runs away at the end instead of tearing himself in half. Not nearly as satisfying of an ending for him. I'm glad to see you used unaltered versions.
I always heard a version where he started stomping so angrily and throwing such a fierce tantrum that he cracked the ground beneath him and fell into a big hole.
@@Lyndonmaman That's the version I usually heard as a kid as well. If I were to tell a version of the story to little kids, that's probably the version I would tell, as it brings an end to the bad guy while not being overly violent.

I think the English translation is quite funny In German a lot of things rhyme e.g. Rumpelstilzchen says “Ach wie gut, dass niemand weiß, dass ich Rumpelstilzchen heiß...” And it rhymes and I like it
The last story you tend to repeat yourself through out the story. Is that how it is in the story or was it you correcting yourself and forgot to cut those parts out? Not complaining just looking out just in case. 🙂
