Just research on youtube for christian kpop. There are a lot of groups that produce songs to praise God. They are just not popular as rest of kpop, but songs are great.❤

My little sister loves “pink venom” but every time I listen to it, it sounds demonic. Venom is from snakes. What does snakes represent? Temptation, the fall of human kind, lie, evil and the devil obviously. Some of the lyrics say:”taste that pink venom” so they are saying to you to fall into temptation. That’s how I interpret it. Blackpink is a group that gives darkness energy. I used to listen to their old music and didn’t realize they were weird too. They promote rebellion(in the lyrics of tally for example)And you’re right, they are always singing about how much they are beautiful or rich, it’s disturbing.
It’s not that deep imo. You can be a Christian and still listen to things on the darker side. God made venom…And it’s not demonic. But that’s just my opinion.

Because they want all about you to be about them and spend all your time on them. You have to know when they are on live, concert, meetings… listen to all their music non stop, watch their performances…And that’s why I decided to stop indulging in kpop at all.
I think that some kpop fans love their idols with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. But the Bible says:
«You shall love the *Lord your God* with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.»
Totally agree with this! I've become a Christian around age of 12 and that was also the time I started to listen to kpop. Now I'm 22 and still enjoy kpop music (can't stand to listen to/watch everything tho) I can see how much the kpop industry has targeted on the 'idol concept' and all of the fandom culture and fan services to me are toxic in the way I can't simply appreciate their music anymore. I think it's important to pull out the fact that kpop is obviously tempting people to idolise these singers/dancers/artists and we need to be careful. Love the verse you used in the end cuz it perfectly proves that these 'idols' could become a replacement of God in our hearts :(
That's true. I was blinded by satan and didn't see a problem in listening to kpop at all. I knew that I spend way more time on listening to kpop and watching their content than on talking to God and seeking His Kingdom. Even though I knew that some songs, music videos and videos don't glory God but are very dark, I listened to them anyway. Now that I am free from it (God gave me His grace and I was born again thanks to Him), I can see how my life changed. I don't seek guidence of humans anymore, but lay everything at Hands of The Most High Who truly cares about me. I no longer have anxiety and have suicidal thoughts, I was cured from traumas in the Wonderful Name of Jesus and began to serve God while using my talent with help of my Precious Friend Holy Spirit. I am glad that people talk about their testimonies and help others to see that there's problem in praising people to the point that they are your priority. Only God should be our priority

I might get hated for this and that’s okay, but this is exactly why I don’t feel comfortable with the term “idol” being thrown about when describing a music genre. Though I will admit that with my Christian faith (Seventh Day Adventist), I can be bias. It’s a sin for me and you guys to idolize any person and/or image on this planet, as stated in the 2nd commandment of Gods 10 commandments. Some of the music is good I can give them that… but that’s about it. These celebrities and “idols” are really good at performing, singing, dancing, acting, etc. but I genuinely believe that worshipping these people (which is what we are too; people) is straight up fool-hardy. Id like to imagine that even atheists and/or agnostics (let’s pray for these guys to seek Jesus) would agree that reminding ourselves that they’re just like us, could and would help ease or even start shoving degeneracy into a strong decline. Respectfully, It could also keep a few of those guys and gals humble and in line. We all know that “celebrity-disease” is one heck of a drug. Great video by the way. Very informative. Hi, i have been a kpop fan for years but also a Christian. All this time i have seen that every artist will have good songs, in between songs depending the interpretation and bad songs. Twice as well. They have more good songs than bad songs to be honest. However, talking about those songs you listed. The only one i sort of listen to sometimes its i can't stop Me, because the interpretation it has to me is about the danger of falling into temptation and how its never too late to stop ( i could be wrong, its just my personal interpretation) however the others are another story. More and more makes reference to Eve who wanted more and took a bite of the apple, they use this reference to explain somehow the process of growing up, you somehow lose your innocence and your eyes are open to a ''new world'' an interesting and exciting one... however in the end of the mv we see a snake, they use this reference to say that the new world the girls discovered its actually a bad one but they don't know yet. Then it comes the next album Eyes Wide Open. Now the reference is that After trying the apple Eve's eyes were wide open, they use this reference to talk about the new world of being an adult but it comes with temptations, mistakes and doubts about falling in of not, two sides are fighting now. And i can't stop me talks about the desire of falling into temptation but also talks about its better not to. In the end of the mv the train they are in stops, and in a part of the mv, they are in the dark, they decide to turn around and follow the light instead of the red lasers in the dark.
hoewer even if i know the real message they are trying to give, usually, I dont like the songs usign biblical references, especially about that because i know they only take it like a reference for a mv. Also temptation, the devil, purity and all of that are very sensitive subjects. So i wouldn't recommend listening to them a lot, or even listening to them at all. It doesn't means dont listen to twice songs but better to stay away from those two.

Thank you so much for making these videos. I appreciate how you encourage us to be in the word and how you reference scripture. I've gotten into kpop recently and I've found that it's harder for me to say no to these songs than western songs that may have the same kind of content.
I'll admit that it's difficult for me, especially because I want to learn dances.
With songs like XG's shooting star, I love the dance, but the lyrics are iffy, and I have to modify the movements to make them more modest.
Another tough one is seventeen's cheers. I love the dance style for cheers - but am not sure about the hip shake dance part of it - even though it looks cool.

That’s how I used to feel but it does affect you, regardless if you think you have stopped it or not. I’m not the best and I’m trying to limit what I listen to, but I really believe songs and words affect our spirits no matter how strong we think we are.

I could explain my reasoning for a few songs, but like she mentioned, reading the Bible and listening to the Holy Spirit will help you discern.
I'm going to share my testimony. So I'm a person who never ever wanted to get into Kpop but one day my friend introduced me to stray kids and long story short I was so hooked. And I even told my friends of how utterly in love I am with Bang chan. But there was always some guilt I felt whole listening to them because doing it gave a high with adrenaline and all. But one day I slept and hasd dream where I was at a cafe and the stray kids were there and they was so happy to see me, bangchan specifically was treating like his girlfriend and even telling that to his mates. So they were about to go on a tour bus and before they went chan looked at me and he wasn't looking like him, he wad the same face but it was very different like it wasn't him at all and he knew that I knew that and got worried like I saw something I wasn't supposed to see.
So I told my friends at church about all this and they told me something I already knew, that I shouldn't be listening to those people because there is something they are probably hiding.
And on top of that each time I listened to them, I felt doubt and like I was straying away from God because I'd spend so much time getting to know about them, I even learn the Korean language now. But you know I'm compromising too much and to God that is disobedience. I sometimes think why can't God just let me like things anymore but ultimately he is protecting me from something I don't understand that he knows. So I advise you sister to stay in God, stray kids always want to seem like they will offer love for their fans as if they know you personally but the truth is they don't and never will. They are just trying to get more famous, they will say and do anything and everything to be charming and that steals our hearts because we see then to be so full of light and beautiful. But remember, And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

I used to say that a lot with songs I used to listen to and knew their lyrics were bad. Even if it don’t effect you, you should ask yourself questions:
Does this song glorifies God in anyway or is it in accordance with the word of God? Would Jesus listen to it? Would it be okay if I put this music in church? Etc. I don’t know for you but for me music with curse words or bad lyrics are just not for me 🤷♀️ I don’t like listening to them. Can I still like kpop but just don't let it influence me? And i can try to only listen to kpop songs that dont have a demonic meaning. I'm not very obsessed with it but i listen to it almost everyday and like some songs, but I later found out that some of my favorite kpop songs were demonic and had bad meanings, but I still kept listening to them and I love God and I'm Christian but I dont read the bible, I don't pray but I only go to church when my parents go, and I'm only 12 years old and I wanna get close to God but I also like kpop and that I don’t wanna completely let go of it but I enjoy it so much, I try not to listen to some kpop songs but then the next day I listen to it again and there are times where I am singing kpop songs without even realizing, I wanna be able to listen to kpop but atleast lower my obsession with it and get closer to God.

I would say it's better not to because we don't know how they come up with their songs. Maybe they ask the devil to inspire them for the making. That would be the reason why some songs with bad meaning became so popular and catchy

Personally I don’t listen to music including the devil either in a bad or good way, in the title or in the lyrics. I guess you should take her advices; look at the mv and the lyrics and ask the Holy Spirit for discernment. And if you are questioning whether you should listen to it or not, it may be the Holy Spirit.

*First of all, I wanna congratulate you because you didn’t just ignore the doubts you had on this song and searched for others Christian’s opinion and you are trying to please God even in the songs you listen to. A lot of Christians would have ignored it. I also want to apologize if it’s too long.*
Apparently the original meaning is «about a phase where you solidify your identity and your name as you grow into adulthood.» «We try to express that temptation where you just want to settle for now and don’t want to grow up anymore»
But if we stay only in the framework of temptation, in the lyrics it seems like they can’t escape temptation and falling is inevitable. “You can’t get off the ride”
Yet the Bible says in James 4:7 “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
They make us think the devil is invincible yet for Childs of God, Jesus said in Luke 10:19 “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
So I wouldn’t be comfortable singing along those lines because the Bible says in Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
the more you will listen to it the more you are likely to believe it and the more you will likely fall into temptation because you will feel weak and feel like temptation is invincible.
So this is my take on it on the lyrics.
Now what about the song itself?
The first time I heard the song it didn’t sit right with me. If they are trying to portray temptation as bad then why are they singing in such a seductive way? I am not even the only one saying it. I found a comment saying “Beomgyu's voice is very seductive” below the color coded lyrics video.
Listening to this song wouldn’t be good for you if you are dealing with lust. As Christians we should be careful to not fall into lustful thoughts, dreams or acts. Unfortunately that’s the vibe the music is giving.

As christians we shouldn’t indulge in darkness, unfortunately some music we listen to(kpop or not) shows and movies we watch open doors to the spiritual world by which the devil and demons enters and can lead to dealing with evil spirits, sleep paralysis, nightmares, lustful dreams and much more.(If you want to learn more, there are videos on RUclips)
So I would say to be careful with two types of songs: Seductive ones (either in the clip or the lyrics or the voices or the musicality) and those who might have connection with darkness/ the devil.
I am not here to forbid you to listen to any song but if you are questioning if you should listen to a song or not ask yourself these questions:
Is this song that I am listening to and singing is glorifying God in anyway? Does this song lyrics is in accordance with the word of God? Does it bring me close to God or push me far from him? And would Jesus listen to it?
Apparently the new album of TXT is called “temptation”, therefore I would be careful with every song there is in it. Also I wouldn’t advice you to listen to “devil by the window”.
Just know that I love you as a sister in Christ and genuinely care for you and that’s why I am saying all of this. God loves you and wants to protect you and your heart. Sometimes this results in letting go some things we like because they aren’t good for us. I advice you to read and meditate the Bible more,to pray, to fast, to listen to some sermons or testimonies in order to strengthen your faith and relationship with God. Don’t forget Jesus is coming soon so don’t be too distracted and also «seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.» Matthew 6:33

I used to listen to blackpink a lot but got saved at 2021 I feel their music quality went down I didn’t like the lyrics or swearing. I love them all and hope they find Jesus. I pray Lisa doesn’t become a stripper or jennie that they show love to themselves. I hope Rose still has a relationship w Jesus. I was very disappointed when I heard their new songs. I started listening to twice after 4 years and I still love them. They aren’t afraid to be hyper feminine and innocent no twerking swearing flexing. PThey’re music isn’t egoistic just about love, taking your shot, loving ur friends being a girl and true love which many people shame these days and all. My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and with twice they inspire me to get back in shape eat well and take care of my body. I don’t feel conviction while listening but a blackpink new songs I did so I don’t listen to them anymore. I pray all twice find Jesus.💖💖

Hi LeeAnn ~ ~ ! There is another RUclipsr I watch who despises all K-Pop, and talks about the demonic, occult witchery going on within the K-Pop industry. I agreed to disagree with her points but understood that she only wants everyone to love, fear, obey, and live genuinely for Jesus, our dad. I commented on one of her videos, asking her about a song that I truly believed God approved for me because the lyrics which I understand talk about loving someone but keeping them in our memories and moving on with Jesus. Versus one that was clearly sinful. She passively aggressively commented an insanely long reply about how I have free will, but I know the truth because of what she has told me, aka through her videos and if I continue to indulge in K-Pop when I know the truth then I am a lukewarm Christian. The question I asked her was if she believes listening to Godly-approved songs like iKon's Love Scenario was okay, as she has proper and better discernment than I do. Compared to a song like ENHYPEN's Fever which promotes fornication and pedophilia. She basically called me a fool who was wasting her time and asked me if I bothered to watch her videos since my question was just too stupid. I believe she is a pastor as she said she has a ministry. This reminds me of teachers or professors in schools who become very aggressive when a child or student needs help with their assignment and asks a bunch of questions because not only are they curious but need proper help with their work. People like her ought to be ashamed because she ended by saying how she is busy and needs to focus on people who truly want to repent, truly live for God, and be saved. Her response made me feel like I was sinning, and that if I continue to listen to Godly-approved K-Pop songs, then I will not make it to heaven. It truly not only traumatized me but made me afraid to ask questions. Her channel is called Simple Believer, and I told her to not be rude to me and to please learn manners because as a child of God. I know for sure, God would have not talked or treated me the way she has. If anyone has advice or scripture for me, or similar experiences, please reply. It will help. Thank you.

I also have a question ~ ~ ! I feel like there are a few K-Pop songs that God approves of. Since not all K-Pop is made equally. An example would be IKON's Love Scenario. The song seems loving and fresh. Now a song like ENHYPEN Fever was deleted from my playlist. The beat is amazing, but the lyrics are promoting fornication. I would love your input on this topic. Until you are ready to fully surrender Kpop and the witchcraft and idolatry it is founded up and filled with to God, you will never see the full truth of it, neither will you be free from it. At the end of the day, you have the free will to do what you want. But you have to remember that each time you engage in darkness, witchcraft, idolatry (or any type of sin), esp. you will face the consequences. And when you do so after KNOWING the truth because people like myself have told you, the degree of the bondage and consequences increases. It might not be something you want to here but the truth must be spoken, regardless of feelings.
Now that I have told you the truth, you cannot claim ignorance anymore, rather it is up to you to study God's Word for yourself not leaning unto your own understanding, but relying on God's Holy Spirit. And also do your own research. In this age of technology, there is no excuse for people not doing their own research. There is only so much I can do and it's not something I'm gonna keep explaining over and over. I have done my part explaining and exposing all I need to about this topic in my playlist as God has commanded me. Take all your questions to God and seek Him, dear. This is my final response on the topic, as I am very busy with my ministry. Also, I must focus on the serious souls who are actually rejecting this world and the things of this world, as the Bible commands. So, this was the convo I had with her and the question I asked. And this was her reply to me. I believe she believes she did nothing wrong. And this is the funny part, all of my replies that she liked. She just unliked them all but refused to reply. I was waiting for her reply. Hopefully, she apologized for her passive-aggressive attitude, but she did not. She just disliked all my replies, which she liked. Which shows me she thinks she did nothing wrong. for me, i dont really agree with a few lyrics in some songs but i think im smart enough to not follow through with it or agree with it, if i dont agree the lyrics and follow with it, would it be a very bad thing to still listen to the song for its vocals and beat?

I personally don't think you should listen to kpop at all as a christian because they're sung by kpop idols. In christianity someone who you call an idol is someone who you worship and think is greater than god. That's why I stopped listening to kpop. (No hate!!)
Idol is the name given to a especific group or person who sing. It doesn't mean that youre worshipping them.

Honestly, I’m not 100% sure as I don’t listen to the song and watch the music video but, I think IVE did signs of the Illuminati in their debut song..? And again, they used “Oh my God” as a line in their song 😑. I don’t think Newjeans is bad to listen to, Cookie has horrible lyrics and meaning though, so personally I don’t listen to that song.. but the other songs should be fine..? About Yena, I don’t really listen to her music much so I’m not sure.

You know what I find funny about the people that make these kind of videos if they didn’t see the music videos and weren’t fluent in Korean and didn’t have any of the lyrics translated then chances are they probably wouldn’t know if the song was good or bad especially if the song was in Korean with no subtitles or anything. I bet if they only heard the song on the radio or as a background song in a movie or tv show it probably wouldn’t even register as a “bad” song.
So if you’re a Christian and like Kpop it’s ok to listen to it, just maybe don’t watch the music videos. You can instead watch Music Bank on the KBS world on RUclips they’re just live concerts on stage and they’re just singing with some dancing nothing wrong with that .

Its not a troll video. Her claims are accuritely backed up by scripture from the Bible.
As she said it is a Christian video and people might disagree if they’re not. Even Christian can disagree. It’s not like she said that all their music is lame or denigrated the artists, she just said her pov. She can say the same for western music, actually there are a lot of video on western music that Christians should not listen to.
