As a spurs fan, this is quite similar to the pros and cons i see every week with Angeball...
Cons outweighing at the mo
@StingerNeilD cheers mate 😂
Angeball needs wingers to break down the opposition. Wrong personnel.
@sld1776 in FM you wouldn't usually have an IW (Son) and an IWB (Udogie) together. With Kulu and Maddison as well as solanke dropping deep, we're over crowding our attacking midfield area to an obscene level.
All big ange really needs to do is stop playing our line so high the risk is way too high for the possible reward
Have you done a tactic yet where you use all roles that close down the opponent? So central defenders with a Stopper duty, BWMs in midfield, Defensive Wingers, and a Pressing Forward (or 2, or 3...)? Would be fun watching them all just run at whoever has the ball all at the same time.
One similar a few videos back

Doing something similar in my current one season save with Galatasaray. 3-3-4 with wide centre backs, then a deep lying playmaker behind four advanced playmakers and two complete forwards upfront. Averaging close to 80% ball possession in the league and on our way to win our champions league group with Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid and Sporting Lisbon.
Great highlight worthy goals with short one touch passes almost every match but the defence is a bit leaky.
I tried two trequartistas instead of complete forwards, creates even more chaos and movement but I prefer to have my strikers closer to the box.
Love the sound of that
Cracking video mate. Surely a false 9 or DLP (S) is more playmakery than a CF though? Probably wouldn’t work half as well due to the lack of focal point but would’ve been interesting to see just how far you could push it.
Yes probably, but I don't think there is much in it to be honest
I honestly expected you to go triple Libero, 2x DMC DLPs on defend, 2x WP, an AMP and a Treq.
Another good option, be carnage too
3 at the back with 2 WCB and a BPD with a half back in DMC with take more risks would of also been an option
Agreed but I set the challenge of using the actual playmaking roles. Like yours better though
you're doing it with my team Braga too, excited to see it
They are in my next one too
all your videos are a banger!! absolutely love it.
You should let the assman pick the roles with your most wacky tactics
Just started binging your videos. Really liking the types of challenges you set for yourself. What is your second channel you mention here and there, by the way? I can't find it.
It's down at the bottom of my home page
I missed a 'G' off Coming up! Geez I need more sleep.
have you tried getting most if not all of your players linking up? would be interesting im sure it would be possible with atleast 7 players
Seems like you can switch double liberos to BPDs and almost get a stable working tactic
I'd agree! The libs have a mind of their own
I think this could of worked better if you tried 2 cdms coz then one of your liberos should stay back in theory
Probably wouldn't make much of a difference, but such an insanely high line is surely the use case for a Sweeper Keeper on attack?
Wouldn't hurt 👍🫡
Based on your experience, are tactics that just bomb forward relentlessly the best in FM24? I use them myself with, usually playing with 5 up front, 1 DM, and two IWBs
Yes, It is very hard to play the opposite way
@@StingerNeilD then you could set yourself the challenge of making a completely static tactic work. No roaming, and as little movement as possible. Don't even know if its possible
@@Davidbaratunk weve done a hold position vid too
This video is better than most of yours because you actually spend more time on the match screen. No-one actually cares about your individual results or "story of the season". What we want to see is (a) overall effectiveness and (b) detail of what's happening with individual roles. You covered the liberos here well, but would love to have heard more detail on the midfield roles and how they move about the pitch.
Appreciate your comment. I feel it depends on the video type though. The 'story' videos are just that, story's, so people tune in for that, the tacticy stuff I'd agree with you
Can I ask how you test your tactics?
Just the usual way, play 10-15 matches then sim, a lot of the times I play a full season fully first
