At 18:01, it didn't use the Sunken Citadel since you had already tapped for two colorless. The Sunken Citadel only taps for Blue, so it needed to tap two different lands to use the mana you already floated.

A fun deck if you don't run into beans decks! I keep running into them. UPDATED EDIT: Lost repeatedly with this one in Diamond rank (I was at the bottom of the ladder so I could give it a try). I have a knack for not drawing combo pieces, and there is so much card draw in the format that it's hard to get much advantage with this and other decks get more powerful set pieces with their draw. I think UW may be the better option for the blue Enduring.
Oh man I kept trying to make Enduring Curiosity work in an enchantment creature shell featuring Zur, Eternal Schemer. It performed ok but wasn't amazing. Your token shell is a better way to get the value from curiosity!
I would say it just makes every non-red deck a bit better. Hopefully it will also make mono red a bit less popular, which will make meta healthier than it was pre-ban
For all the noise about mono red leyline at launch, this rotation has seen some pretty amazing shifts in meta in such a short period. So so many viable decks
Amazing shifts such as? Mono red leyline is still the #1 most winningest deck since the mentioned leyline dropped. Regular mono red, mono red with green extra steps and mono red with black extra step all sit in the top 5 BO1 decks rn. Maybe the only newcomer in the top 5 tier 1 decks is boros enchantments, but thats just another totally wonderful aggro deck. Like, aggro did not shift at all. In fact, the red leyline just gave mono red more consistent turn 3 kills, as if it even needed the boost.

Build a Simic version of this 🗣️ in current standard blue has some of the most, if not the most powerful cards, you can very very easily tap into green with some elves and get an insane amount of mana, and then take way more advantage of these awesome new blue cards, the other big plus is when you play Simic or just way less control cards, you vs a lot less control players, so your quality of games goes way way up in general, I'm obsessed with Teferi's Temporal Pilgrim, my favorite card ever, but in the current format he absolutely destroys, Simic to ramp into him and Enduring Curiousity to make that token the most insane threat on the board with ease,
sloth im working on something spicy....fear of isolation and nurturing pixie return our stuff....bottomless pool sheltered by ghost invasion of theros and the room that returns a creature from yard to play w 3 cmc or less are all what were returning with fear or pixie. repeat tempo effects and recurring pixie with surgical suit just haven't tested it much.... working on it now ill fill you in with the details lster sir mad love

I think they knew I probably hold removal, we had all mana open, as control, with 7 cards :) So they tried to defend, as they expected this attack won't be lethal anyway, 1 go for the throat etc., would completely backfire such attack making them die to counterattack. I think that was probably the reason
@@SlothMtg well this makes sense, but from the situation I don’t think they had any other out besides hoping that you don’t have an answer. Because if you do, you can remove something on the next turn and finish them anyway. Or even if you don’t, they would have to chump block all the bats and be left with nothing. And it doesn’t seem like they could have drawn something that would have saved them. Doesn’t seem like a smart play.

I built this deck and haven’t won a single game with it, I either don’t draw the curiosity or my opponents board state is better than mine before I can play it, just hasn’t worked for me a single time out of 10 matches
Yeah, but you have removal for it, so we shouldn't care (we play at flash speed, with counterspells, so Sheo should be extremely easy to deal with, usually I prefer her over other drops, as 4 mana is very clunky play that usually puts us ahead)
