There is no way that elephants are living in appropriate conditions in a zoo - let alone a zoo in a nation that doesn't share the climate they belong in. Might this be the issue? You don't specify if this is a condition that elephants get or if it's specific to elephants in captivity. Might this have been a deliberate omission? Elephants do not belong in zoos
