    FWIW We cut polycarbonate all the time with the CNC router in our shop. So possibly the issue you had was maintaining a consistent feed rate with the hand router? Also I always use spiral O bits for polycarb.

      You are probably right. I’m just using common wood working tools for my process. They are not really designed for plastics, but they work on some types of plastics and some metals.
