I dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
This approach of tearing into all aspects of a song is really something else, invaluable for those who may be unsure or foggy about....how it ALL comes together. Wonderful set of lessons, Mark.
Superb lesson. I've bought a ton of bass books and I really feel that I shouldn't go near any of them until I can do this comfortably - and I've been playing 40 years! I'm also trying to sing the notes before I play them. Hard finding those 7ths first! Keep singing 3rds!
Absolutely love this method of breaking down all aspects of a song . . . invaluable, thanks Mark. I know how much work it takes for you to do this . . . .
Hi Mark, huge bass fan just about to buy my first bass and actually start learning to play instead of only listening to others. Any buying advice for a complete noob?
I've got some advice for ya! You don't need a super fancy expensive bass to start with. My first bass was this cheap $200 Washburn and I loved it and grew on to better, more expensive basses from there. Just go to a guitar shop. look at some price ranges, play some basses and pick one that feels most comfortable to you that's in your price range!
@@talkingbasslessons yes with great interest Mark! Just don't have the arpeggios as written in the video. No worries, can get them from the video or other workbook you've published. Good stuff btw, thanks!
Honestly the best tip for people to learn how to solo on bass is to literally just play guitar. If you learn guitar, you know the chords better than in just bass and it’s really easy to fret compared to bass. Then you take what you know and improvise around those chords.
When the guitarist points at you, just point back.
Brilliant 😆
You have the best bass channel, in my opinion, Mark. Thanks for all your help.
Great lesson. There’s literally months of practice work right here.

an amazing lesson with so so much to work on, but you're making music now..
Thanks for the lesson Mark. This series is absolute gold dust. Do you summarise other jazz standards in a similar way in your premium courses?
Thank you. Great lesson. Didactic and to the point.
oh, it was a cool lesson, I just waiting for the next, thank you!
Really great. Looking forward to next week.
Can we also call those notes before the chord notes as grace notes? Thanks for this lesson I learned a lot
No. Grace notes are rhythmically different and can be any note (within reason). It’s all about the rhythm.
Thanks, Mark! this sessión is amazing! is incredible how someone can improve with the right method. Congratulations!
I want to be able to solo
As the great Victor Wooten says 'MUSIC IS A LANGUAGE '
