I've been running Mikanko in MD since they dropped, and your lists have helped a lot. Obv not everything here is out there yet, but it's great to pull ideas from! Now I gotta test sublimation knight/squeaknight over the Connector/Dolphin package in my current build. (Currently running Connector/Kaiju as a blind-2nd, and the handrip is a great way to know what I'm up against if I get forced to go 1st or they're sitting on facedowns. It's a 49-card build but it's been super consistent for me)

@@yugi.woah11I think in total the deck has 13 1-card starters? And a fair number of extenders, 2-card starts, and so on. I very rarely brick entirely, but I only have 2 hand traps (Ash Blossom) and 2 called by the grave. It's much better at breaking boards than setting up, but when it's necessary getting an Apollousa with Moon-Mirror Shield and Mayowashidori seems to stump most players pretty well.

I've won more than a few games by someone blindly swinging in with Psychic End Punisher or other big towers, but a lot of people start conceding the moment Isolde hits the field, so I've been climbing faster than I have in prior seasons by a mile.
Let's go my boy!!!! This is a really great list!! I cannot wait to bring my libromikanko variant to my channel I've been cooking hard with it. But I still keep going back and forth on ratios and specific cards in general.
Something ive been messing around with in my mikanko build is playing 1 sauravis as a secondary target for prep, to protect my combo from imperm or veiler. Curious to think what your opinion is on that
Ouuu I don’t mind that as a tech at all! The question then becomes: what do you take out or replace? Also have to wonder about sequencing to optimize plays, but I don’t think this is a bad suggestion in the slightest. Thank you for watching!!
You’d be searching a situational negate (awesome for imperm;) it would make most sense if Ohime was already in hand (especially if you’re pure Mikanko otherwize you’d be limiting combo ceiling.) I took it out, but keep it nearby for further testing. I run it a non-Mikanko deck.
@@billyyoung2725 yeah, that would be the ideal (having in Ohime in hand) - although getting hit with droll without first searching ceremony with Ohime would hurt a lot. So sequencing would have to be super important.

Transitioning from blind second to going-first can be a hard thing to do, but I appreciate your support with the channel! Definitely review some of the past videos to get you started!
@yugi.woah11 I'll have a look there then. Discord to be a pain at times. I've been in and out of ygo for ages now, haha. Finding an archetype that fits my personal vibe outside traptrix was amazing. So the blind second made sense to me. But if it loses the die roll, the plays are very limited. I'll have a look over the other videos, too. And never a worry. Gotta help fellow Canadians out when I can, right? I've been playing on MD just to get a feel for the deck. I know ATM I'm not a good pilot, but in time, I hope to be there.

I think the sinful spoils engine is particularly good with the Kengine build, but I wanted to offer something different than what most lists are on. I feel like the Kengine lists are a little fragile, and I prefer making a deck that is resilient and doesn’t lose hand economy. Thank you for watching!!
you really need to post text lists and stop using irl cards. this 30 minute video could have been like 6-8 minutes with an edopro list and a few replays or a dueling book list and a few combos.
