Jerry, I did the same, but added extensions, using plain black flaps from a farm supply store. Placed a 4x4 under Weathertech, for spacing, Now my rear flaps extend to 4" off pavement and I've not had to clean road tar etc in two yrs. ps: Camper delivery drivers are required to have tire protection to within 4" of pavement
