Karen Clark Sheard sure tore the place up from the floor to the roof, along with those dynamic background vocalists Avery Sunshine, Danetra Moore and I believe that wonderful vocalist from Donald Lawtence's Tricity singers.
All of the BGV's were fiercely established/ accomplished musicians in their own right. Left to right: 1. Donald Lawrence lead singer Blanche McCallister famous for " These Nails.". Avery Sunshine famous for her cover of "The Lord is Blessing Me." 3. Sunday's Best finalist/ gospel/ R&B/ Pop/ jazz artist Danetra Moore famous for Angie Stone, KeKe Wyatt, Ledisi, Jesse J.video, "Queen." Gospel album solo project. " Great & Mighty." Not at all surprised that Karen's irrefutable excellence made her extend an invitation to these INSANELY blessed women to accentuate and SHINE with her on Monique's yummy but limited platform.
Yes Monique pushed our black culture all genres of music Gospel, R& B ,Soul, Jazz, Her show gave a platform for Classic Artists as well as new. Her show bridged the gap. #KEEPGOSPELRNBSOULJAZZMUSICALIVE
@@dariusmosley1728 have you heard faith evans today? She sounds and looks awful...even her spirit tells that she has not been living right and taking care of her voice. Back in the day, Faith could blow and I could hear similiaries.....like in the mid to late 90s Faith sounded really good and her voice was amazing. Listen to the song " Love like this before". Karen is a super amazing singing and sings just as well at 60 years old. I want you to look up on youtube Faith Evan singing recently....she was dressed in black and on zoom. I forgot whose show she made a guest appearance by zoom or satellite....type in Faith Evans guest appearance by zoom or satellite......you will find it...then write me back!!!
That is awesome that is the exact phrase that I use or at least one of them when I'm describing Faith Evans. I call her Karen's vocal daughter. I have never heard anyone else say that before. We've all heard Karen Clark Sheard Junior but never her vocal daughter. I'm wondering did you see that someplace and adopt that because I'm the only person I know that is ever said that and put it on a comment on social media. Amazing! I can hear more of Karen's influence on faith and much more of her earlier music when her voice was lighter Crisper and more agile. She's still a beast and I love to hear her. Faith is my second favorite singer in the world after Karen.
@@ManifestedSonofTheMostHigh23 I agree with you. Have you seen her performance on a talk show in which she sang on satellite? She sang part of a gospel song but she was moving inappropiately like she never sang a gospel song in her life. You can tell she has not been taking care of her voice or herself physically. Faith Evans is an awesome singer but not doing the performance, for the first time she sounded awful....none of the smooth runs...but back in the late 90s and early 2000s. ...she was DEFINITELY Karen Clark Sheard Jr! Not now! I am so sad for her.
Wow...I remember when this came on! That was Jermaine Sain from When We Speak TV in the audience (2:57). Can't really tell that's him in this video but when they aired it was very apparent! We love the work that Jermaine is doing in Atlanta.
I just randomly watched this on my tv with the RUclips app and was like is that Danetra Moore back there?! At one point her mannerisms with her hand made me realize it was her!
#KarenClarkSheard’s the TRUE definition of “kept”! She looks GREAT!
SHE BETTER LET THAT DIRTY DEVIL KNOW WHATS UPPP🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The background singers said our mics are ON!
I love Karen so much!
One of her best live performances to date
