Lived 12 blocks from those buildings from the time I was born until they went down. Forgot how beautiful they were at night. Thanks for bringing me back JOC.
No sir it did not! This country has been through alot and with every hard time passing, it came back stronger than ever. And that is the WILL of The People 🇺🇸❤️ Together we can build a new America.
To be fair America has done a ton of evil stuff and was founded on slavery and genocide. Is it really such a bad thing it is dying? For most of the world life will continue on as normal just with less evil stuff happening.
It's pretty surreal to see NYC with the old WTC nowadays, especially if you were too young to remember them or were born after they were destroyed. I was only an infant when they were destroyed.
@@_________________404 Only in the west was it a good time. In the 90s, a massive chunk of the world went in flames, a whole society and way of live collapsed and let out the brutal violence and genocide it held at bay for almost a century.
This is super surreal to me since I was there for well you know. The music fits the video clips well and how it’s not over hyping or to low down. Keep it up.
I think it was because we we’re younger it seemed that way like late 90s? War and ethnic cleansing in the balkans, war crimes in Chechnya, Ira plotting to assassinate bill Clinton. Apartheid coming to an end in South Africa it was the fall of communism and start of North Korean famine
@@dreadpiraterobertsii4420 i actually was born in 2006 , but these kinds of videos just seem so familiar , you know ? Its like a case of collective nostalgia , where something that was very important and iconic was destroyed or changed , so anyone from any generation can connect to it even if they werent alive when it existed . I feel like this is what happened with the Twin Towers , a familiar image , impactfull to the city of New York , one of the most marketable cities in the world , the amount of content during the 90's in all sorts of media sporting the WTC , made it a staplemark of that city and when it was destroyed , it became a even bigger symbol of New York and America at large , as a resilient people. This is just my opinion after all.
As a New Yorker, this was pretty cool! I will say though you missed an opportunity to use CatSystemCorps News At 11 songs for this since that album was based on events happening on 9/11. Maybe you can use it if you ever do a video with the actual attack? Still though, great job! :)
Huh I’ve never heard of them, thanks for the recommendation I’ll check them out. I probably won’t do a video with the actual attack though. It’s probably a bit insensitive.
@@JOCaesthetics I mean you do videos on wars. Thats still human suffering and death. Maybe do a video on what follows during and after the attack. (War against terror, new york united, etc) Killing and death are all the same in violence. But to say 9/11 is off limits when wars arent doesnt make sense. Young innocent people die both in terror attacks and war.
@@Themetalwookie666 Its a long road, and sometimes I don't feel like we'll make it, but other times I have a weird sense of pride for something I had no hand in building or preserving. idk, I guess sometimes it feels like we'll be alright.
I barely remember the time before they went down. I was very young at the time, being rushed away from the tv showing one of the burning towers by an adult is one of my first memories.
Luckily the reupload channels have been busy re uploading his stuff. His videos are so good it would’ve been a shame to lose them. JOC your videos give me the feeling I get from mixtape. Keep up the good work.
It can, and it will. I don’t know about you, but 1500 degrees is more than enough to reduce structural integrity, thus causing the beams to buckle and collapse.

Sure but the country my ancestors carved out of the wilderness died in 1865 and it’s successor state died in 1964.

Really forget how huge they were
Bad time in history
I was just 10 months old when this event happened.
The world you were raised to survive in no longer exists. ;_;

I wasn’t even born till a few years after the towers fell. I wish I was born earlier to experience the pre-9/11 era
Simpler times they were, no longer they are
