The album reflects themes of internal discovery, authentic self-expression, Joshua's journey of surviving and recovering from cancer, and elements of his Jewish heritage. Musically, it blends jazz, electronica, hip-hop, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and rock into a unique and cohesive exploration of sound.
"Inner Search" is a powerful declaration of survival, born from Joshua's experience of two years with undiagnosed cancer, followed by six months of intense treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
