Hey man. Im trying to do this, but with the pebbles having different colors. Since you're using tile sampler instead of shape splatter. How can i use multiple gradient maps for my pebbles ?
@@3dextrude Yep. It worked. Hopefully i find a faster way. Someone told me to use the tile sampler color node, but that didnt help. Maybe you can see if that works and let me know. Thanks for this help.
@@gustavodutra8578 Yeah, there are different ways to do it. You can also use a flood fill to random color or gray scale value and use that for masking different colors
alchemist is a program for mixing different materials together. Designer is a program for creating materials from scratch. Since he wanted to create a specific material, it was easier for him to create it from scratch in Designer.
Depends, since in alchemist you make the material from an image and like Fire Noodle said to make changes to it you kinda have to blend other materials with it. So I guess, yeah it would be easier, but I don't think it would give the ability to make a lot of changes to it, like changing size of blocks, rotation, placement, etc.

I guess I'm quite off topic but does anyone know a good website to stream new movies online?
I'm about to start learning substance designer in my school courses, and this is so helpful! Thank you for sharing!
Awesome!
More realistic materials dude! This one was insane

You will have to separate them with more than one tile sampler you can get different masks out of them.
@@3dextrude Hmm. Theres no way to make it with only one tile sampler ?

Nice vid, but wouldn't it be much easier to do this in substance alchemist?

Designer must be the most complicated and frustrating software out there with Zbrush coming a close second....
It can be confusing at first, but give it enough time and it's not so bad
