It’s a Mastercraft table top belt sander, I got it from Canadian Tire. It’s only really designed for wood, so it takes a long time to sand rocks and wears out the belts faster then one designed for metals. Is it water thats being used?
what grit of sandpaper did you use on the sander.
I try to use as low a grit as I can, I think it was 40.

What tool did you use?
For the obelisk I mostly used a belt sander, since it’s hard to create a flat surface using a Dremel.
