I was told that Boscov’s won’t let some people rent out spaces and won’t let people renew there lease. That’s why the mall is so empty.

I'm from the area. This mall gave so many amazing memories for me. Christmas in the 90's at LVM was just EPIC. I bought my first CD and video game here. It was more than a kid could ever dream of. It's sad to see it like this today. I personally witnessed the slow decline to the way it is today and it's sad because there's plenty of 30+ year olds that have so many fond memories of this place. This place was full of people each weekend it was the spot to hangout! Now I just go only for the Mancino's pizza at the end of the mall and walk around thinking of memories.

I live in Lebanon, Pa, and I go to this mall ALL THE TIME! This mall is so dead inside, but its really cool to walk around and see the kind of retro style in it. My family and friends and I still visit this mall frequently! There are some new stores opening inside of it, like a dog grooming shop, a photo booth thing, and some other stores that are still alive! I honestly still love going there! 🥰

As a cub scout in the 70s i had the honor of walking in the main fountain to retreive the many coins thrown by customers. There were also 4 small fountains with a hot air balloon above each that would rise and fall in that large section by bath and body works.

    *Announcement!*
If you have not heard yet, I will now be uploading videos throughout the week! Wednesday and Saturday videos will remain consistent, but on other days, there will be a random upload! So now, expect a video from me not only on Wednesday and Saturday, but now throughout the week! Saturday videos most likely will always be a mall, with Wednesday and other days throughout the week, just being an abandoned restaurant or store! This will only be temporary at times I have a backlog video list, like in this case.

I live very close to this mall. This place used to be bustling with people and had a bunch of incredible stores. I would always visit the GameStop while my brother and dad would go to the sports store (I forgot the name lol) it all collapsed in 2020. Everything closed and now I see people going only to mancinos and the multiple barber shops. Fun fact, I was the first baby to go into 5 stone kids! Look it up, there was a news paper about 😂 (Callender Smyth is the name on that paper. Das me.)

I always shop at Boscov's to support them and I believe this mall could do well again with a few risk takers and some clever marketing. It used to be packed. There are enough people in small town America who prefer to shop in person rather than on Amazon. Just a few cool stores could start a chain reaction. And the new Starbucks outside will help. They should get a few places the teens would like to drive some traffic. Kids still like going to malls!

I used to live 5 minutes from this mall! This mall was the place to hang out on the weekends in middle school. So many good memories here, I even had my first date ever at the movie theater attached to it. There used to be a bookstore there near the Bath & Body Works, the people that worked there were so passionate and basically got me into reading literature at a young age. It’s so sad to see everything in it vanish. I think it will probably get demolished or converted at this point considering 80% of it is empty.

I've taken trips to PA from time to time, and gone to this multiple times. It was amazing when I was a kid, having that one place with the sugar pretzels. Now, all it really has is Boscobs, the fountain, and you can see fireworks during 4th of July. I heard that the reason why is because of some conservitive group buting the mall, and getting rid of this shit.

Transplanted resident of Lebanon, PA. I've been to this mall ONCE. It's really depressing to see all that wasted space. Personally, I'd put in a BOWLING CENTER. You could easily fit 50 lanes. And if the owners make it AFFORDABLE, family friendly, and especially LEAGUE friendly, it'll thrive. Add a game room for the kiddos, if you must, and be sure to have a fully functional pro shop. Keep the lanes, pinsetters, and other equipment clean and in good working condition, and it will encourage leagues -- *the bread and butter of bowling centers* -- to form and stick around season to season, not to mention organize tournaments and other fun events. Throw in a snack bar and maybe even a lounge with some pool tables and dart boards, and have some leagues, tournaments, and other special events in there to add to the revenue. Bowling is a sport for young and old alike, and a sport that can be enjoyed whether it's snowing out or in the middle of a record heat wave, rain or shine. It gets neighbors, family, and friends socializing FACE-to-FACE, having fun and laughs TOGETHER, instead of just face-timing, texting, and gaming alone, staring at a screen on an electronic device. This town is essentially on life support. I really believe bowling would bring it back to life.

Fun fact, it DID have an small arcade (no, not talking about the one in the theater) at one point. They even had a DDR machine which I enjoyed playing on. From Lebanon myself and I can't agree more. This place seriously isn't even worth going to (except for the theater). I pretty much said "fuck this" when the FYE at this location closed. Well, there was Gamestop but even before it closed this location, it was a complete joke, them considering themselves "essential" and shit.
Want to go to a GOOD mall in PA? Try Park City in Lancaster County. Just to list a few stores, there's a Boscov, FYE, Spencers, BAM, Slime Time (A place to make slime), and Round One (Huge Japanese arcade with restaurant, bowling, karaoke, and play area for children).

Whenever I see a mall with vending machines, I think, "this mall is probably going to close soon." A good mall will have Starbucks, Jamba Juice, a food court and an arcade/kiddie ride place.
All the places vending machines are designed to replace for a lower operating cost. But at least this mall seems to be hanging on for a bit longer.
Maybe they can keep converting the mall into other uses like that church. But yeah, brick-and-mortar retail is on a downward trend.
It will get harder, not easier, to find new tenants as businesses realize that paying a landlord rent and store employees a paycheck is an extra expense they don't have if they just sell everything on Amazon, instead. 🤷
