I used to eat at this location often before they closed, about two years ago. There are plans to make this a Raising Cane's, but it's in the township approval process yet. It's a great location, but needs a developer. Thanks for visiting.

Also remember when you said they took down the cabellas in Bristol VA and moved it to the bass pro shops in Bristol TN? Well if your wondering why they didn't take down the bass pro shops and move it to the cabella's is because the cabella's went bankrupt so they lost money.

Aww, that's sad. I worked here in 2004/2005. There was a Dick's that was closer to me, but I chose this one because it was larger and nice inside. I loved the escalators.

I can remember when there was Jim Dandy's restaurant, pic-way shoes, fashion bug, etc. in that Plaza.

I used to work at this mall, Steve and Berrys.. around 20 years ago. I moved from Amelia and to Tampa 10 years ago. Sad to see its dying.. I havent been back in a long time.. kinda miss it. This place used to be PACKED... so many people would come to just hang out here. I remember the in ground seating and the fountains when i was kid. We would throw pennys in the fountains.. time flies.

Earlier this year, TGI Fridays closed several locations in Northern Virginia including the Woodbridge one near Potomac Mills Mall. As you know, they have filed for bankruptcy

Was in and out of this location all the time 5-6 years ago, mostly doing gas work. Not sure if they're all owned by the same franchisee, but not surprised to see these starting to shut down in the greater dmv area. This particular location wasn't the worst Friday's by a long shot, but by and large none of them were great..

It's too bad about the decline of TGIFriday's. My area one closed a couple years ago and turned into a local place that hardly anyone goes to. The nearest TGIFridays is like 50 miles away now.

Wait that used to be a Boston Market several years ago. I ate there several times the food was always good but it seemed like they were short on help.

The building looks good inside and out. Hopefully someone will open it back up as something else.

I remember back in the early 00's, this place used to be poppin', unfortunately, in the 2010's, social media kinda killed it.

They promoted their chicken as healthier than normal fast food because it wasn't fried, except the enormously high sodium content completely negated that claim.

Ive never been inside a Boston Market but i have eaten their tv dinners and i think they are very good compared to other tv dinners. Their mashed potatoes taste like real potatoes.....

I moved to Utah when I turned 18 but I remember going to that mall all the time as a child I recommend the outlet mall or that other mall I forgot the name

I work for a Harris Teeter in VA. The chain in based in Matthews, NC ( near Charlotte). Most of the stores are in the Southeast- some in MD, but most in VA, NC, SC, GA. Some stores have Starbucks but depending on the store. No, except for a few gourmet items, not much more expensive than most stores. Kroger owns Harris Teeter . Overall the stores have a reputation for better than average service . Prices are similar to other main chains..slightly higher than Food Lion but not up with Whole Foods and specialty stores. I don’t know why this store was abandoned. The store I work for is the most popular store in our area.

I live near that Abandoned family dollar, before it was a family dollar there it was just a empty space over on Melrose Avenue. Some places on that strip have a hard time staying open. It's another family dollar store on Melrose, further up, where it turns into Orange Avenue as you head downtown. There is also one on 22nd Street. Maybe with it being 2 family dollar stores less than 2 miles away from this one wasn't a good idea. 😆😆 The other stores probably out performed that one. More sales & more people went to the other one from the looks of it.
