    I cover my labels with clear packaging tape before cutting them out on front and back, it serves as a laminate. Great video

    Great info. For the Eight State Burley, you can "crop" the excess part of the image to cut it down closer to the size of the circle.

    Not sure if you've updated your process but Avery labels work really well and they have some sized for jars

      Lots of options. The process described in this video makes them easily removable which is not the case for most stickers. Either one will look great tho!

    Thanks for the simple instructions on this task. Some of the other RUclipsrs take it to the extreme with Acrobat, high-resolution photos using high-dollar cameras, printing programs, online services, sticky-back paper, and on and on. KISS (keep it simple stupid) 🙂is the way to go, and you succinctly explained how. Thank you so much; this video cinched my decision to subscribe! Keep up the great content! Thanks again.

    This is awesome. You could even use a circular cutter from most craft stores and even cut down on time and get perfect circles.

    This has helped me out a lot as I just brought a lot of samples. You walk through how to do it in such a simple and easy way. Only thing is my labels don't look as nice and neat as yours, I can't cut a round circle to save my life 😄

      @@hobbitonpiper Found some on Amazon, though the first shipment arrived in shards and powder. 2 oz. of bagged ribbon cut needed 2 of the 8 oz. wide mouth Bells, surprised me. But great for gifting, and your label method worked perfectly 👍

      @@troycasaceli5972 I stocked up, so these are what I’m using. Find the smallest wide-mouth jar available in your area is my recommendation. That way you can still use this label process.

    Great tutorial! I will try it. The labels look great and I think it will work better for me than using traditional label paper (I find really boring all the calibration work just to make sure the image won’t be cut). Thanks for sharing!

    Awesome how-to video, Kevin, simple and fool proof - other than the cutting out part which for me is where things can go horribly wrong. Scissors have never been my strong point. To the rescue comes a variable radius circle cutter, a perfect circle every time. Best that you are having a great week - peace

    Great video. Now i've got a suggestion: when you have printed those out you could spray a bit of hairspray over the images. I used hairspray because Varniss is too thick and wil make the paper wrinkle.This hairspray wil give it a glossy finnish and the label is easyer to pull off. The paper wil become stronger and wil stay together better when pulling the label off of the jar lid. Greetings,, Kitty.

      No, the small squat shaped jars are hard to find these days, but you should be able to find larger sizes. You’ll need to search for Ball Mason Jars and see what’s out there currently

      On plain printer paper, the labels are fairly fragile. They are easy to pull off but they are not usually re-usable, so yeah I just print more copies as needed :)

    Kevin I set up my jars last week following your technique. They look great; however, today I went to put tobacco in a jar and every label was off the jar lids. I used the same glue stick you did. Have you had this problem? Probably need to look for a different glue.

      I’ve never had a single label so much as move. No, I’ve never had this happen and I have countless jars labelled this way. Not even an edge has ever lifted up. Make sure you’re using a name brand glue. I literally just use that purple Elmers washable school glue stick.

      Unfortunately they are discontinued in this squat shape from Ball but you may can still find some. I believe these are 8oz
