- We have now had back to back 40-40 seasons with Ronald Acuna Jr and Shohei Ohtani, but before that there was Alfonso Soriano in 2006. Often overshadowed by other members, he played with the Nationals for one season after 5 on the Yankees and Rangers and did something only done 3 times previously. Joining Jose Canseco, Barry Bonds, and Alex Rodriguez in the club.

Soriano hitting 46 HRs playing an unbalanced schedule (NL East) in mainly pitchers parks (RFK, Pro Player, Turner & Shea) is quite the accomplishment.
One of my favorite players growing up as a cubs fan 💪
Soriano should be in the HOF. He hit over 400 dingers in addition to his SB numbers and 40/40 season (and 39/41 season in 02)
He was a beast in his prime
I love your videos!
The last 40 40 season with normal size bases
Soriano who is also NPB alumni is one of Ohtani archetypes. NPB develops a lot of unique talents.
Did he pitched?
@@punyaweeco4370did Ohtani hit 40 doubles in his 50/50? No
I think background music will change your videos forever
Soriano was on steroids when he went 40/40.
It is absolutely ridiculous that he is not in the baseball Hall of Fame You got a guy that had seven different seasons of 30+ home runs a 4040 season 412 career home runs. I mean you’re talking about one of the best Latin players to ever play the game and this guy is getting one percent of the vote on the Hall of Fame ballot. Come on MLB.
what players did years ago does not matter or mean anything now. previous seasons dont matter the second the season ends
Wtf you talking about?😂 not a fan of baseball history?
True. Babe Ruth doesn't count. Your brain is mush
Well if you are wondering why you are divorced, i think i know why
