Finnick - Mercenary Arc

3 and a half Years after the Fall of Beacon has found Finnick in the Anima Countryside...while the rest of the world got split up and divided during this initial FOB crisis he and Nova had stayed in Vale to help with relief efforts and Day to Day living. Originally Finnick was unable to leave and chase down Ignacia when she left due to an injury he sustained during the FOB. Then when he recovered he saw the amount of people suffering in and around Vale and how many Huntsman were leaving to pursue their own selfish agendas. Nova was certainly never gonna leave with her Mother still living in Vale and Finnick decided his place was there as well, for now. Eventually Xayakana also left Vale for very important personal reasons but he told Finnick he'd keep an eye out for Ignacia given his travels would be going across Anima to start with. Eventually the conflict with Salem ended and Vale no longer needed him so he swore to himself he'd locate Ig and see what has become of his former Teammate. Naturally, Nova was in a place where she was also ready to follow her Leader and the two were gifted a Bullhead. Of cource nothing ever goes as planned.
Now traveling on foot after a crash, Finnick stands guard outside an abandoned building so that way Nova can get some much needed sleep. His fancy suit of armour was an Atlesian Prototype so naturally after both the FOB and the Fall of Atlas, his armour was nothing more then far too heavy metal that didn’t function properly so he swapped it out for more traditional equipment. He even used some pieces from his old suit, transferring them into his new armour. To put it plainly Finnick is exhausted and despite the fact it was for good reasons he regrets waiting so long to track Ig down as well as the fact he's now dragged Nova into a dangerous situation.
Outside of story telling we finally get to see Finnick's Hammer!!!! That means all 3 forms of his weapon have now been shown! I also tried a new effect for this one with the rain visuals/audio and thought it turned out surprisingly well. There were a couple details the artist missed for his outfit but all in all the art was decent enough. I did this between "Heroes" and "I beg to Differ". Next week we catch up to present day but I do have an a couple art pieces I'm working on right no with multiple artists and two of them could be ready soon. The next piece is an Elurra scene!

The song name is "Still Holding On" by The EverLove. I normally let the lyrics in my video edits speak for themselves but I love these ones so much for the context with the FOB. It fits surprisingly well.

The rain sound and effect turned out fantastic! Really adds to the mood well. I do hope he manages to find his teammate since by now the trails probably as cold as Solitas itself. I really like the detail of him having to change armor after the fall.

The trail may be about 4 years cold but the end of it is still very very hot!🔥
Yea his armour kinda acts like training wheels for the first Arc of the story. Now those training wheels are off and it's time to see if he's worth his salt as a Huntsman!
