- FASTING BASICS AND FUNDAMENTALS
• Fasting begins with a convicted & repentant heart to awaken you to the wickedness you’ve been apart of unknowingly so that you may obey God with a pure heart. This includes repentance and breaking covenant with unclean spirits & coming into agreement with the shed blood of Jesus Christ by the power of God (Psalm 51, James 4:17, Galatians 3:15, Psalm 100:4).
**God will reveal the blood covenants you made with satan through sin. Just ask. God will break the yoke by the power of the Holy Spirit! This is necessary especially if never done before, & you are still open to sin/backsliding continually, with no fear or remorse of what it’s doing to your soul.**
• Your fasting should not be known by others (unless you are corporate fasting). Do not make a huge announcement to others that you are fasting. God convicted me to even only say, “Please cover me in prayer as I seek the face of the Lord,” when requesting covering from Spiritual leaders. Please make sure these “leaders” are led by God. Be obedient to move to the church He instructs you to when it’s time. Not one you’re comfortable with but one where GOD leads. Do not forsake the assembly (Matthew 6:16-18, Hebrews 10:25, Esther 4:1-3, Matthew 4:1-11).
• Charity is important, necessary, & you have not completed a single fast if none of the “fast” included Charity. Even Esther sacrificed her life for her family’s deliverance. Charity is the giving up of something to resemble your love for God more. This includes but is not limited to volunteering, serving oppressed populations and demographics, selling of your possessions & giving the money to the charity Holy Spirit leads you, or as simple as making goody bags to give to those in need, or participating in a food, clothes, or blood drive at church, etc.- with the right heart posture (we do things because we love God & God’s people, not because we want something from God) (Isaiah 58).
• Cry Out, Lament & Seek the face of the Lord. Cry out in Thanksgiving & Wait on the Lord to call you up and take you higher in the Holy Spirit which is the presence of God. Seek the face of the Lord. Lay prostrate. The position of your body dictates the posture of your heart & vice versa, in your secret place. Do not be dismayed, discouraged, or deluded! God wants humility and deserves the fear and trembling that His presence brings! Fear the Lord. Abstain from all fleshly desires that gratify the flesh. Quickly reposition and use your weapons & call on the name of Jesus to make demons flee (Ephesians 6:10-24, Jeremiah 33:3, II Chronicles 7:14, Esther 4:1-3).
• Consecrate your home & room with prayer & take communion! Communion is a major part of the faith as believers in the atoning power of Jesus Christ. Purchase or make anointing oil as led by the Holy Spirit. Study the word of God and the significance & symbolism of oil. Anoint yourself daily! Plead the blood of Jesus over your body and your family & everything attached to your destiny, calling, assignment & anointing (even if you do not know it yet) do all things in faith & by faith for without it you shall not please God! PRAY! When God wakes you up, it is not random! It is a time for you to seek His face, intercede (intercession is always for others, never for you), listen, worship, declare His promises to call them forth in your life, write the prophecy & or offer up a sacrifice of praise (II Chronicles 7:1-3, 13-18, I Corinthians 11:25-26, Matthew 6:17).
SPECIFIC FASTING INSTRUCTIONS:
Jeremiah 33:3, Esther 4:16.
**PLEASE NOTE: This fast is unique as God is doing a NEW thing. You can not truly expect more of God approaching fasting the same old way.**
Day 1
• Dry Fast : this means no food or water.
Day 2
• Dry Fast & No Social Media: this means get off of applications unless you are posting ministry & even once you post or watch Bible study or service FROM YOUR CHURCH THAT YOU ARE COMMITTED TO, log off (this does not apply to you if you have not declared a church as your home church & place of serving and worship - virtual members are not included). Refrain from social media all together, for you, are the instructions of THE LORD! Obey GOD. DO IT WITHOUT DELAY.
You may eat Corn from the stalk if you become too weakened
Day 3
• Dry Fast, No Social Media & Fast from people: this means do not speak to, talk to, engage in meaningful connections with others as much as possible. Sacrifice. Take off from work when God instructs you. For church duties of responsibilities stay set apart from the crowd. In the home, still away as sacrificial as possible. Still away. This also includes abstaining from sex if you’re married and you & your spouse are equally yoked and have sought the Lord to do so - singles should be abstinent anyhow.
Consult with the Great Physician & your earthly Doctor if pregnant and/or on medication. This fast may not be for you, again it’s ONLY for a few people. Shalom

I broke my 3 day fast on the 3rd day, on Sunday, I felt so weak and empty like I wanted to faint and couldn’t walk. I look back and wish I would’ve embraced the increase through the decrease and death of my flesh. His spirit gives life to our mortal bodies, Im thinking it’s time to try again
I’ve had a complicated relationship w fasting, because of my past of eating disorders. Binge eating, starving throwing up too. I’ve done 2 21 day fasts this year already, and I’m asking the lord to show me not through any perverted eating disorder lenses his desire for me
@naishipae yes that’s what I used to really struggle with. I am with you sister. The enemy uses his old tricks to try to get at us. Jesus strengthens us in our weakness
I pray God will increase you in strength as you get up and do it again. When I ask God to help me complete my fast he helps me alot. Your commitment is beautiful ❤
The righteous man falls down and gets up 8. Fasting is a lifestyle. Be patient and kind with yourself and do it again. No fast is a failure, you just didn't do the number of days desired. Do it again and again till you see Jesus. Fasting IS Life.
Only managed 1 day dry fast yesterday. Lots of attacks and digestiv upsets. Completed a 3 day Esther fast a few weeks ago. Will try again to complete a 3 day Esther fast in the coming days. (currently malnourished). But God is everything to me.
