I cried tears of joy when I saw pale as shit like me all the way to to the deepest deep. Rihanna had all of us COVERED! She tailored this launch to every person! Every color, every undertone! My skin is pretty "normal" (as in not too oily, dry, or combo), but sometimes it doesn't like to sit quite right on me, but the staying power is so worth it. The funny thing is it fits my pale skin almost too well and I need to blush and sometimes bronze just to look alive 😂 it does oxidize on me but it is pale enough for me that I apply, wait 5 minutes and it's a match.
She was totally right about Trophy Wife looking good on red undertones. I got it for myself and I not only have red undertones, I also have rosacea (a skin disease that causes red bumps and near constant blushing), and it looks fucking awesome! I feel like a cyber princess when I'm wearing it!

For some people it does take hours before the color changes. It is going to oxidize for some shades and they're basically just saying it "dries down" to sound better IMO

Yeah I think it's a little bit both--personalities, and general attitude towards the products/brands. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Shayla's dry wit, that's why I've been a subscriber of hers for so long. But in comparing Shayla's review of Fenty vs. other launches, like KKW or Kylie, she came at this one from a much more negative, subjective place. I think a lot of people were curious as to why that was.

Rihanna made a much needed statement with this launch. I think 40 shades of foundation, not to mention the wide range of highlighters and contour shades, is unheard of particularly for a new brand. Seems like there is a new eye shadow palette launch every 5 seconds so that is the last thing the market is lacking right now. This leaves some room for her brand to grow if she chooses but to be honest I actually prefer the focus to stay on skin. Hopefully this winter she will come out with a foundation with a dewy finish and carry the theme on from there to full coverage, bb creams etc. This could be the Fenty brand's niche. I hope the competition forces many of these makeup brands to do better!!!!🤜🏽🤛🏿

Jackie actually took time to learn about the products, figure out what worked and what didn't work for her, and gave Rihanna credit where credit was due. Yeah I think it's a little bit both--personalities, and general attitude towards the products/brands. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy Shayla's dry wit, that's why I've been a subscriber of hers for so long. But in comparing Shayla's review of Fenty vs. other launches, like KKW or Kylie, she came at this one from a much more negative, subjective place. I think a lot of people were curious as to why that was.
Yeahhhh had to give her some side eye on that one. Just further proof that she didn't do her homework on the brand and products. As a "guru" that's LITERALLY her job.

Rihanna made a much needed statement with this launch. I think 40 shades of foundation, not to mention the wide range of highlighters and contour shades, is unheard of particularly for a new brand. Seems like there is a new eye shadow palette launch every 5 seconds so that is the last thing the market is lacking right now. This leaves some room for her brand to grow if she chooses but to be honest I actually prefer the focus to stay on skin. Hopefully this winter she will come out with a foundation with a dewy finish and carry the theme on from there to full coverage, bb creams etc. This could be the Fenty brand's niche. I hope the competition forces many of these makeup brands to do better!!!!🤜🏽🤛🏿
